Friday, May 24

*9:47 AM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a subject being bitten by a feral cat.  According to the report, the cat has been taken to the animal shelter for quarantine.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of credit card abuse.  According to the report, the complainant stated her credit card had been fraudulently used without her consent or knowledge in four online transactions totaling $97.20.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of credit card abuse.  According to the report, the complainant’s credit card had been used without her permission.  The complainant was able to get a refund for the amount charged and wished for a report to be filed.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy conducted a welfare check on a vehicle that was parked in the rest area on Bangs Hill.  According to the report, as he made contact with the driver, the deputy saw and smelled marijuana coming from the vehicle.  A small clear baggy with white residue was seen lying in the seat of the vehicle as the occupants exited, the report states.  A search of the vehicle and its contents was conducted and several items were found including a small container of methamphetamine and packaging and two baggies of marijuana, the report states.  Khristi Wells and Brittany Abel were both arrested.  Abel was charged with possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.  Wells was charged with possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams, possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*San Angelo Police arrested 44-year-old Teresa Lynn Dickinson of San Angelo on a Brown County warrant related to theft of property equal or greater than $20 less than $500 by check.

Saturday, May 25

*1:25 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the 300 block of County Road 183 regarding a noise complainant.  According to the report, the complainant reported loud music playing from a nearby home that was keeping her awake.  As the deputy approached the residence where the music was coming from, an intoxicated subject approached him, the report states.  The subject, later identified as 19-year-old Colton Brian Roberts of Bangs, was very unsteady on his feet and in slurred words advised he was having a birthday party, according to the report.  The deputy found beer cans scattered on the ground and a cooler with beer and Dr. Pepper, along with a half bottle of whiskey on the hood of the truck near a fire pit where several people, including five underage subjects, were sitting, the report states.  Roberts stated that he had bought the alcohol and had invited everyone over for the party, according to the report.  Roberts was arrested and charged with purchase/furnish alcohol to a minor.

*8:09 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on County Road 142 regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had come onto his property and taken farm implement equipment.

*10:57 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on Kelli Lane regarding an unwanted subject, identified as 26-year-old Kenneth Morgan Meador II.  Meador was arrested on outstanding warrants related to open storage in yards and unsanitary conditions/open sewer.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a stolen donkey from a property on County Road 176.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Kelsey Jenee Delongchamp of Midland on warrants for assault by contact and failure to appear on class C offense.

Sunday, May 26

*4:20 PM – Brownwood Police were called to a residence in Brownwood regarding indecency with a child.  An investigation is ongoing according to the report.

*Brown County deputies received a report of a reckless driver northbound on Hwy 183S.  According to the report, the vehicle was located traveling 97 mph in a 70 mph zone, in the 4000 block of Hwy 183S.  The vehicle was stopped and the driver was identified as 37-year-old Robert Joseph Catlin of Hawley.  While the deputy was speaking with Catlin, he became very upset about needing to get to a restroom and unbuttoned his pants, pushing them down to his knees and exposing his genitals in a public place, the report states.  Catlin was charged with reckless driving and disorderly conduct.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an assault.  According to the report, the complainant stated that while at Sandy Beach Park, his stepson assaulted him, resulting in the loss of two of his teeth and a momentary loss of consciousness.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Ramiro Alberto Ramos for driving while intoxicated with open alcohol container.

Monday, May 27

*11:53 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to the intersection of Hwy 183 and 84 regarding found property.  According to the report, three Weedeater brand push mowers were located on the side of the road.  The mowers were taken by the deputy to the Law Enforcement Center for safekeeping, the report states.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy responded to the parking lot of Big G’s on Hwy 279 regarding a suspicious vehicle.  According to the report, contact was made with 36-year-old Crystal Matulis of Dallas, who was acting very nervous.  Due to Matulis’ nervous behavior, a consensual search of the vehicle was performed which found a smoking pipe with white residue in Matulis’ purse, the report states.  Three small plastic baggies containing a clear crystalline substance tested positive for methamphetamine, according to the report.  Matulis was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 1 gram less than 4 grams.

Tuesday, May 28

*1:10 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy observed a vehicle swerving and striking the curb several times.  According to the report, a traffic stop was made at the Allsup’s parking lot on Early Blvd.  The driver, identified as 24-year-old Daniel Harmon of Kansas, was placed under arrest for driving while intoxicated.  While being processed at the jail, a green leafy substance wrapped in plastic was found in Harmon’s left front pocket, the report states.  Harmon was additionally charged with possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*5:24 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of Bluffview regarding a domestic disturbance resulting in a report of assault with injury family violence with unlawful restraint.  According to the report, the complainant advised that she was assaulted by her boyfriend.  She explained that the two had been arguing when he grabbed her left arm and the hair on the back of her head, forcing her onto the balcony and locking her out of the apartment for a period of time, the report states.  The suspect eventually unlocked the door allowing the complainant to enter the apartment, then left the area and could not be located at the time of the report.

*12:28 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 100 block of E. Anderson regarding the burglary of a building that occurred sometime between Saturday, May 25th and Monday, May 28th.

*1:24 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to W. Main Avenue regarding theft of property $500 – $5000.

*1:34 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart, 401 W. Commerce, regarding theft.  According to the report, a shoplifter fled on foot from loss prevention officers.  One of the officers provided a description of the suspect and will provide video and still photos of the suspect, the report states.  The investigation is ongoing.

*1:37 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of W. Austin Avenue regarding a hit and run.

*2:24 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2900 block of Coggin Avenue regarding a burglary of a building.  According to the report, the complainant stated that unknown subject(s) had entered his unlocked detached garage and stole four window air conditioning units, valued at a total of $1150.

*3:55 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of Magnolia Street regarding criminal mischief.

*5:00 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Melwood regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, the complainant advised that sometime within the last two weeks, someone had stolen a .22 rifle and some cash from his home.

*6:31 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Bluffview regarding the theft of a license plate sometime between May 27th and 28th.

*7:58 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart regarding theft.   According to the report, a male subject was identified and found to have concealed stolen property from the store on his person.  The suspect admitted to attempting to steal merchandise from the store and was subsequently issued a citation for theft as well as a criminal trespass warning for the store, then was released from the scene, the report states.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 38-year-old Christy Dawn Lanham of Coleman on a warrant related to manufacture deliver controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams.

*22-year-old Mylia Elizabeth Shipman of Comanche turned herself in on a warrant related to theft of property greater than $20 less than $500 by check.

Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 39-year-old Stephen Wayne Shores of Early on a warrant related to unlawful possession of a firearm by felon and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone.

Wednesday, May 29

*Brownwood Police arrested 32-year-old Saul Salvador Sanchez, Jr. on a warrant related to bail jumping and failure to appear.
