Monday, May 26

*4:53 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of Cordell Street regarding a citizen’s dispute.  According to the report, the officer met with a subject involved in the dispute who stated that he was assaulted by another male who had left the scene prior to the officer’s arrival.  The other subject was located and returned to the scene and the incident was documented, the report states.

*4:57 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart regarding three females being detained for theft.  According to the report, the three females were each issued citations for theft less than $50 and issued criminal trespass warnings.

*6:40 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of W. Commerce regarding theft.  According to the report, surveillance video was reviewed and a license plate number of the suspect vehicle was obtained.  The investigation is ongoing and charges are being pursued, the report states.

Tuesday, May 27

*9:19 AM – The Brownwood ISD resource officer responded to the 1600 block of Calvert Road regarding a student found to be in possession of what was believed to be marijuana.  According to the report, the student was found to be in possession of marijuana.  The student was taken to the Brownwood Police Department and released to the juvenile probation officer.

*11:20 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Holcomb regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, officers met with family members of the victim who now lives in California.  The family member informed Police that many items had been stolen from the home and the burglary happened sometime during the last 10 months.

*1:57 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding fraud.  According to the report, the complainant stated that a family member was using their identification to cash a fraudulent check.  Two suspects were identified in the incident, the report states.

*2:48 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center.  According to the report, the complainant stated that his daughter had broken into his residence and stolen several items.

*3:29 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding theft.   According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 24-year-old Ashton Anne Jackson of Brownwood and 23-year-old Alisha Leann Dobbins of May, each charged with theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500.

*9:56 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2300 block of Avenue D regarding harassment.  According to the report, the complainant stated that a male subject had been harassing her at work and following her around town.

*10:11 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the area of Austin Avenue and Quail Run regarding a reckless driver.  According to the report, the reckless driver had a medical condition and was taken to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room.  A relative of the driver, identified as 56-year-old Kenneth Timberlake of Brownwood, noticed the driver’s vehicle and stopped to see what was going on and officers noticed a smell of alcohol on the relative’s breath, the report states.  As a result, Timberlake was arrested for driving while intoxicated, according to the report.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old Heather Gale Dominguez of Brownwood on surety withdrawals related to criminal trespass and two counts of theft.  Dominguez was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $18,000.

*25-year-old Enrique Guadalupe Ortega of Brownwood turned himself in on a warrant related to thef of service equal or greater than $500 less than $1500.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Scott Lewis Stuart on warrants related to driving while intoxicated 3rd.

Wednesday, May 28

*32-year-old Brandi Elaine Brown of Brownwood turned herself in on a warrant related to theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500.
