*According to Brownwood Police reports, during a traffic stop, John David Adams was found to have a suspended driver’s license, no insurance, and the car he was driving was registered to a resident of Abilene. The report states that the truck had no keys in it and appeared to have been started with a screwdriver. Adams claimed he had just bought the car, had no insurance and was taking it to a mechanic due to a brake problem the report states. Adams was arrested for Driving While License Invalid.

*Brownwood Police arrested 20-year-old John David Adams for Driving While License Invalid.*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36-year-old Fabian Duke Gomez for Inhalant Abuse.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 49-year-old Mitchell Wayne Robertson for Driving While Intoxicated.
*Early Police Department arrested Charles Ransom Carroll on charges of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG2 <4g in a Drug Free Zone and Possession of Marijuana in a Drug Free Zone.
*Vladimir Rosado was arrested for an outstanding warrant, Interfering with Public Duty and Assault on a Public Servant according to Brown County Jail records.
*Brownwood Police reports stated that an officer was called to the 1600 block of 3rd Street at 8:36pm on a report of an intoxicated man wandering in the block according to the report. 37-year-old Thomas Reed Stewart told officers that he had walked off from his residence and now was lost. The police were contacted by one of the subject’s relatives who stated Stewart had just moved in with her earlier that day according to the report. She said the two men had been drinking when Stewart decided to walk off. The responding officer released Stewart to his relative. At 9:02pm, the officer was again called to the area regarding an intoxicated subject that had just assaulted another male. The subject’s relative stated that when Stewart came home, he started an argument with her husband and then walked off again. The officer found Stewart in the 1700 block of 3rd Street talking to another male and drinking a beer according to the report. The report also states that when the officer asked Stewart why he was out walking around in public when he had just 30 minutes earlier been told to stay home, Stewart told the officer that he did not talk to the officer and that the officer must be confused. Stewart was then placed under arrest for Public Intoxication.
Friday May 28
*38-year-old Michael James Wilson was arrested by Brown County Sheriff’s Office for Driving while Intoxicated.
*Shortly before 1:30am, Brownwood Police were dispatched to Allsup’s in the 1000 block of Coggin in regards to beer theft. An employee reported that a young Hispanic male wearing a dark blue jersey stole a 30-pack of beer and then ran out the door. The employee stated the man appeared to be about 18 or 19. The unknown man was then reported to have ran north on Durham. The suspect could not be located and no arrests were made.
All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
