Monday, May 19

*Brownwood Police received a report of the theft of property.  According to the report, the complainant stated that 25 locomotive lubricator brackets were stolen from the Texas Rock Crusher Railway’s property off of Hwy 377 which is used for storage.

Tuesday, May 20

*11:48 AM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding identification theft.  According to the report, the complainant brought in eight checks which had been forged along with forgery affidavits.  The complainant did not know who forged the checks, the report states.

*5:30 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched regarding a person climbing into a building on north Highway 279.  According to the report, deputies spoke with the occupants and the owner of the property which resulted in the suspect being issued a criminal trespass warning.

*8:39 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on Highway 279 regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, the victim advised that he believed a known female had burglarized his vehicle. An investigation was begun, the report states.

Wednesday, May 21

*5:07 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s investigator made a traffic stop in the 23000 block of County Road 279.  According to the report, the occupants gave consent to search which resulted in a quantity of methamphetamine being located.  The investigator asked the male occupant to open his mouth; however he resisted the search and swallowed methamphetamine, while struggling with the investigator and other officers, the report states.  He was transported to Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room, where he was checked for injuries and administered medicine to assist him in passing the narcotics, according to the report.  He was going to be admitted to the hospital and was released from custody; however, he checked himself out of the hospital against medical advice before he was admitted.

Friday, May 23

*8:10 AM – Brownwood Police met a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant was in the process of settling the estate of his aunt and had been attempting to sell property in front of his deceased aunt’s home on Broadmoor.  A male and female had come onto the property and when they left, the complainant noticed some items missing.

*4:12 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her bank had returned a check which had been forged.

*6:51 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched regarding a domestic disturbance in the 8000 block of County Road 546 in Brownwood. According to the report, the suspect was identified and stated he didn’t know what was going on; however, witnesses stated the suspect had been drinking and went into a rage punching out a window with his fist.  The suspect was bleeding from his left hand, and there were no other injuries to occupants of the house, the report states.

*Early Police arrested 29-year-old Alex Arrellano, Jr. of Brownwood for possession of marijuana, tamper/fabricate physical evidence and on warrants related to two counts of criminal mischief equal or greater than $50 less than $500.

*24-year-old Kandice Nicole Carr of Brownwood turned herself in on a warrant related to abandon endanger child.

*54-year-old Johnathan Frederick Gibson of Brownwood was arrested on a warrant related to driving while intoxicated.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 31-year-old Kristen Michelle Marshall of Brownwood on a warrant related to theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 29-year-old Jamie Santana Martinez of Brownwood on a warrant for theft of property equal or greater than $500 less than $1500.

*Brownwood Police arrested 39-year-old Lucy Ann Ogden of Brownwood for interfere with public duties and resist arrest, search or transport.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Justin Lee Pittman of Brownwood on a warrant related to possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Brownwood Police arrested 36-year-old Cecil Jermaine Russell of Mobile, Alabama on a warrant related to failure to appear/domestic violence/strangulate/suffocate.

Saturday, May 24

*1:46 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 4600 block of River Oaks Circle regarding a domestic disturbance.

*1:04 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1400 block of Waco Street regarding theft.  According to the report, $150 was stolen and a suspect was identified.  The investigation is ongoing.

*4:06 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding theft.  According to the report, a juvenile female was observed by loss prevention employees stealing make up and nail polish.  The stolen items were valued at a total of $45.21 and the store wished to pursue charges.  The juvenile was issued a citation and the stolen items were returned to the store.

*5:40 PM – Brownwood Police responded to Wal-Mart regarding a criminal trespass violation.  According to the report, the suspect was seen attempting to steal a swimming pool and two water hoses, valued at $118.85.    When confronted, the female refused to go to the loss prevention office and fled to a waiting vehicle, the report states.  The store wished to pursue charges according to police.

*6:26 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on Blarney Drive regarding found property. According to the report, the complainant stated she found a set of keys left in a mailbox lock.

*7:04 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated someone had stolen a dune buggy from his property located at Oak Point Drive.  He had last seen the dune buggy parked at the property on May 11th at about 3:00 PM and noticed the dune buggy was missing at about 8:00 PM on May 23rd.

*9:51 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart regarding theft.  According to the report, loss prevention employees observed the suspect concealing merchandise (in the amount of $57.28) in her clothing.  The store did wish to pursue charges and the suspect, identified as 35-year-old Tara Wisegarver of Temple, was arrested and charged with theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the report of criminal mischief at a property on County Road 201. According to the report, the front door of the property had been broken.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 19-year-old Hayden Hammond of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Cody Wayne Harrell of May on a warrant related to driving while license invalid and violate promise to appear.

*BCWID Lake Patrol arrested 27-year-old James Bradley Rabon of Coleman for public intoxication.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Robert Riley on a warrant related to a parole violation.

Sunday, May 25

*9:34 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of W. Adams Street, at a group home, regarding an attempted burglary the residence.  An investigation also discovered that another residence in the area was also broken into, the report states.  At the time of the report, it was unknown if any items were stolen from either residence and a possible suspect was named, according to the report.

*3:57 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 2300 block of Austin Avenue regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, the complainant had returned from being away for the weekend to find that someone had entered her home and had stolen her PS3.

*4:27 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy arrived at a residence on County Road 499 in Brownwood, regarding a burglary. The deputy spoke to the victim who stated someone had gone into his residence without his consent and taken a shotgun and several knives.

Monday, May 26

*10:42 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2800 block of Southside Drive regarding theft.  According to the report, two laptops had been stolen from the complainant’s residence.

*12:03 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding the theft of a cell phone while the complainant was at McDonald’s.

*12:09 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Slayden Street regarding harassment.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her ex-boyfriend was continually harassing her and that she believed he had also caused damage to her neighbor’s vehicle.
