Law enforcement arrests and reports released Thursday, May 26, 2011.

Wednesday, May 25

*8:31am-Brownwood Police responded to a citizens’ dispute in the 300 block of Bluffview where several females were arguing, one of which was the complainant.  According to the report, there was damage found on the complainant’s vehicle and accusations of an assault that had occurred.  A statement was taken from the victim and a report made of simple assault.

*11:39am-Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Main Street where an air conditioning unit was reported stolen from the window of an outbuilding.  The report states that the incident occurred sometime between 3pm Tuesday and 11am Wednesday according to the homeowner.  No suspect information was available at the time of the report.

*2:13pm- Brownwood Police were called to 513 W. Commerce, Rent-A-Center regarding harassment.  The manager requested that a criminal trespass warning be issued to a subject that was harassing customers the report states.  The individual was located and issued a trespass warning for the location.

*5:54pm-Brownwood Police received a report by phone from a complainant who stated that her black fireplace heater had been stolen from her old residence where she stores her furniture.

*11:20pm-A Brownwood Police officer observed 43-year-old Rudy Reyna standing in the parking lot of the 7-11 located at 1501 Coggin Avenue.  Reyna has an active trespass warning for the location and was arrested for Criminal Trespass the report states.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 41-year-old Sammy James Peel of Brownwood for Possession of Marijuana greater than 2oz less than 4oz in a Drug Free Zone.   20-year-old Tiffany Ann Peel of Robstown was also arrested by BCSO for Possession of Marijuana less than 2oz.

* Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 50-year-old Dorrie Lee Jacobsen was arrested for Possession of Marijuana less than 2oz.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Stephen Michael Temple for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Grade 2 Less than 1g in a Drug Free Zone and Possession of Marijuana less than 2oz.

* Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Lacey Diane Westerman for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Grade 3 less than 28g and Possession of Marijuana less than 2oz.

Thursday, May 26

*12:55am-Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the area of 4th Street and Avenue E.  According to the report, the driver, identified as 22-year-old Christopher Ryan Silva of Santa Anna, was stopped for failure to signal a turn 100 ft. prior and was found to be intoxicated.  After failing several sobriety tests, Silva was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated, 2nd and transported to BRMC for a blood draw the report states.

All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
