Thursday, May 22

*6:44 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Austin Avenue, Brookshire’s grocery store, regarding theft.   According to the report, a male subject was issued a citation for theft less than $50 and was criminally trespassed from the store.

*10:10 AM – Brownwood Police responded to the 1500 block of Indian Creek Drive regarding theft.  According to the report, the manager of Cross Country Care Center reported that some medication had been stolen.

* 4:41 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2200 block of Brady Avenue regarding theft.  According to the report, items including collectibles, coins, a knife and a BB gun were stolen from the complainant’s house.

*5:43 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of 12th Street regarding a domestic disturbance involving assault with injury.

*9:18 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 1100 block of Irma regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the complainant believed someone had broken into her residence.  Police found a window had been broken; however, no entry had been made into the home, the report states.

*10:27 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2800 block of Southside Drive regarding a male subject attempting to sell pills.  According to the report, this call resulted in the arrest of the subject, identified as 25-year-old Nicholas Cody Grady of Brownwood, for three counts of possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone and failure to identify giving false or fictitious information.

*Brownwood Police arrested 42-year-old Ruben  Cadena of Brownwood on Brown County warrants related to forgery of a financial instrument and a surety withdrawal/possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, along with a Scurry County theft of property by check.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36-year-old Jonathan Ray Jones of Brownwood regarding manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams, tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair, and drive while license invalid.

*56-year-old Sheryl Dawn Scott of May turned herself in on a warrant related to driving while intoxicated 2nd.

*Bangs Police arrested 28-year-old Justin Tyler Williams of Bangs on warrants related to theft of property greater than $50 greater than $500, driving while license invalid and violate promise to appear.

Friday, May 23

*12:24 AM – Brownwood Police responded to a residence on 12th Street regarding terroristic threat.  According to the report, the complainant wished to pursue charges.
