Tuesday, May 19
*7:48 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the Brownwood High School campus regarding minors possibly in possession of tobacco. According to the report, school officials noted a student walk across the street from the high school to the church parking lot on 11th Street, where students are often found to be smoking. Two of the three students present were found to be in possession of tobacco and were issued citations for the offense, the report states. All three students were given three days of in school suspension, according to the report.
*8:07 AM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a residence on Ardee Drive near Lake Brownwood regarding an assault. According to the report, this call led to the arrest of Christopher Allen Craddock for assault family violence causing bodily injury (continuous violence against the family two or more times).
*8:12 AM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the theft of a rabbit.
*6:08 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2800 block of Southside regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, a tablet was stolen from the residence, valued at $500. An investigation is ongoing, the report states.Wednesday, May 20
*6:45 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop on US Hwy 183. According to the report, the driver of the vehicle, identified as Christian Danlee Weber, had three outstanding Brown County warrants and was placed under arrest. During an inventory of the vehicle, an orange colored container containing marijuana as well as a small plastic baggie, also containing marijuana was located, the report states. Weber was additionally charged with possession of marijuana < 2oz.
*8:40 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to CR 405 regarding an assault. According to the report, the complainant stated that a relative had slapped him in the face; however, he did not wish to pursue charges for the incident.
*9:30 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1300 block of Avenue D regarding the theft of an ornamental pocket knife.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Gwendolyn Doud of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to revoke/forgery financial instrument.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 48-year-old Barney Allen Eckert of Junction for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and driving while intoxicated.
*Brownwood Police arrested 17-year-old Raistlin Baily Ibarra of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to revoke/assault causes bodily injury family violence.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Mohammed Mehdi of Houston on a warrant related to engage in organized criminal activity. Mehdi was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bond as of Thursday morning.
*Brownwood Police arrested 23-year-old Justin Dewitt Reynolds of Brownwood on a warrant related to failure to appear/assault family violence/house member impeded breath/circulation. Reynolds was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $90,000 as of Thursday.

*Brownwood Police arrested 18-year-old Luis Miguel Mejia of Brownwood for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*37-year-old Jessica Mae Smyrl of Spring Branch turned herself in on a parole warrant.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Christian Danlee Weber of Goldthwaite on warrants related to disregard stop sign, failure to maintain financial responsibility, possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, driving while license invalid, and possession delivery of drug paraphernalia.
