Wednesday, May 18

*5:57 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence in May regarding a burglary.  According to the report, the deputy arrived to find the back door to the residence had been broken into and several items were taken from inside the residence.  No suspect information was available at the time of the report.

*6:52 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to a residence regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, a Samsung Galaxy S3 tablet was damaged by a family member.  A suspect was identified and the incident documented.

Thursday, May 19

*11:17 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3800 block of 2nd Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had stolen her wallet from inside of her vehicle during the night.  An investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*4:06 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant’s purse and its contents were taken while at the business.  Video surveillance showed evidence that the suspect took the purse without the complainant’s permission, the report states.  The suspect vehicle was located and the victim’s personal belongings were recovered.  The suspect, identified as 48-year-old Teesha Price of Brownwood was arrested for theft of property equal or greater than $100 less than $750.

 

*8:25 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Brady Avenue regarding a wanted person.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 27-year-old Laura Leeann Gregory of Brownwood for failure to identify and on a warrant out of Coryell County.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding at the rate of 78 in a 75 mph zone.  According to the report, the driver was identified as 44-year-old Lupe Mendez of Brady, Texas. During a roadside interview, Mendez advised that the deputy had a .380 pistol in the glove compartment, the report states. During a pat down of Mendez’s person, the deputy located an eye glass case which (after consent was given to open it) was found to contain a glass pipe wrapped in a paper towel and a small yellow baggy with white crystallized substance, the report states.  The baggy had a total weight of .3g with packaging.  The pistol was located in the glove compartment.  Mendez was subsequently arrested and charged with Possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and unlawful possession of a firearm.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 39-year-old Rogelio Fuentes, Jr. of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Bobby Hamrick of Clairette, Texas on a warrant related to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.  Hamrick was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond as of Friday morning.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old George Caleb Matthews of Georgetown, Texas on warrants related to engage in organized criminal activity and motion to revoke/driving while intoxicated (Travis County).

Friday, May 20

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Keith James Aubel of Liberty, Ohio on a warrant related to assault bodily injury family/household member 2+ incidents within 12 months.

*Early Police arrested 33-year-old Robby Glen Minica of Brownwood on a surety withdrawal related to manufacture delivery of a controlled substance not in a penalty group.

*Early Police arrested 36-year-old Linley Rachelle Rinehart of Brownwood on warrants related to motions to revoke manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1-A AU less than 20 in a drug free zone and tamper/fabricate physical evidence.
