Tuesday, May 14
*5:58 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to a residence on FM 2492 regarding theft of property. The complainant stated that several items were stolen from her mother’s residence. According to the report, a suspect was named and the total value of stolen property was estimated at approximately $25,000, which was allegedly inside the suspect’s vehicle. Criminal charges are being pursued according to the report.
Friday, May 17
*6:50 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of Cordell Street regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the complainant stated that during the overnight hours, a window screen of the residence was damaged by an unknown subject.
*11:36 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Vincent Street regarding theft. According to the report, a blacksmith-made cast iron hitching post (circa 1876) had been stolen from inside the residence.
*2:54 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 900 block of 1st Street regarding the violation of a protective order.
*3:30 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1300 block of Willis Street regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, the disturbance began as verbal but escalated to an offense of assault by touch.
*3:44 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Bailey Street regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that numerous items of jewelry had been stolen from the residence. A possible suspect has been named; however he was unable to be located at the time of the report and the investigation is continuing, the report states.
*6:30 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the area of Elm and Temple Streets regarding a male assaulting a female. According to the report, a juvenile male was arrested for assault with injury family violence/dating violence and was taken to the juvenile detention center.
*7:26 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of 10th Street regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, the officer spoke to the complainant and a witness who stated that a friend of the witness came into the complainant’s house without his permission and stole his wallet.
*7:54 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of E. Commerce Street regarding a civil matter involving property. According to the report, while obtaining information at the scene, officers were approached by a female subject who advised that a parked vehicle had just been struck by another vehicle in the parking lot and that the actor was fleeing from the scene of the accident. A traffic stop was conducted on the suspect vehicle which led to the arrest of the driver, identified as 64-year-old Eva Morales Bible, for driving while intoxicated, the report states.
*11:17 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2100 block of Center Avenue regarding a domestic disturbance.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the area of FM 1849 and County Road 151 regarding a reckless driver. According to the report, the complainant advised that the vehicle was driving erratically and at one point, drove into a ditch nearly striking a fence. A stop was made on the vehicle which resulted in the driver, identified as 19-year-old Jarrett Djuan Anderson, being arrested for driving while intoxicated.
*Brownwood City Marshal arrested 25-year-old Rebecca Kay Belveal on a warrant related to failure to maintain financial responsibility.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Tracy Jean Stone of Bangs on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate related to endangering children.
Saturday, May 18
*12:41 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Coggin Avenue regarding a hit and run. According to the report, a clerk on duty at the convenience store reported that a vehicle had backed up and struck a pillar between the fuel pumps of the store. The driver of the vehicle then fled the scene, the report states.
*12:05 pm- A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the area of County Road 521 regarding the theft of copper. According to the report, the complainant stated that an unknown suspect cut the panel fence surrounding his house, which is uninhabitable, entered the house and ripped out copper wires from the ceiling and walls. Other items were stolen as well, valued at approximately $1000, the report states. Criminal charges will be pursued, if a suspect is identified, for the theft or precious metal and for the burglary.
*12:46 PM – Brownwood Police were called to 401 W. Commerce, Wal-Mart, regarding theft. According to the report, the investigation led to the arrest of 25-year-old Jason Inglet for Class A theft and failure to identify.
*1:36 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to 401 W. Commerce, Wal-Mart, regarding theft. Two subjects identified as 19-year-old Christopher Rose and a 16-year-old female were arrested for theft over $50 and under $500, the report states.
*2:06 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1300 block of 11th Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, the victim stated that an unknown subject entered her unlocked vehicle without her consent and took her wallet, purse and their contents.
*8:04 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of Bluffview regarding a domestic disturbance involving child custody.
*9:25 PM – Brown County deputy made a stop on a vehicle for failure to signal. According to the report, the driver identified as 28-year-old Megan LaJean George was noticed to be shaking and breathing hard. When questioning George about any illegal substances, she told the deputy that she had methamphetamine stuffed in her bra, the report states. The other two occupants of the vehicle were released from the scene.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop in the area of Brick Street and Sunset Drive which resulted in the arrest of the driver, 29-year-old Camron Mark Helge after a crystal like substance found during a consent search of the vehicle tested positive for methamphetamine, the report states. Helge was charged with possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Joseph Ray Burns on a probation violation.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 60-year-old Charles David Croft on a probation violation.
*Early Police arrested 35-year-old Jennifer Rena Crow of Early on a warrant related to theft by check greater than $20 less than $500.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Jessica Brooke Dillard of Zephyr on a warrant related to probation violation.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Sarah Lee Goodman on a warrant related to a probation violation.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34-year-old Evlyn Kitten Kelly on warrants related to failure to maintain financial responsibility and fail to yield row at stop intersection.
*21-year-old Ronnie Ramirez of Bangs turned himself in on charges related to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Brandi Nicole Watson for a probation violation.
*Early Police arrested 41-year-old Tara Williams of Giddings on a warrant related to theft of property greater than $20 less than $500 by check.
Sunday, May 19
*12:00 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a missing person. According to the report, the complainant stated that his wife had not shown up to work in Breckenridge for the past few days and that no one had been able to get in touch with her. The wife was entered into the missing/endangered person database; however she was later located in Young County and removed from the database.
*12:33 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a stolen tool box from the back of a truck. According to the report, the complainant stated that the tool box contained several tools and that the theft occurred sometime between 6:30 PM on May 18th and 7:30 AM on May 19th.
*4:35 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3700 block of Savoy Drive regarding animal cruelty. According to the report, suspects were named and the investigation is underway.
*6:33 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2500 block of 12th Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle and a missing school bag. According to the report, the complainant had left her school bag in her vehicle overnight and advised that she had failed to secure her vehicle when she had gone outside to retrieve some property.
*11:27 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the area of Avenue I and 4th Street regarding a defective brake light. After an investigation, a passenger was found to be in possession of marijuana. 20-year-old Robert Cresincio Rodriguez was arrested for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to Waco Street regarding an assault which had occurred in the county. According to the report, the investigation determined that the incident was related to mutual combat and no assault had occurred. The complainant began cursing and continued after the deputy commanded him to cease and then yelled profanity at the deputy, the report states. The complainant, identified as 26-year-old Carlos Martinez was subsequently arrested for disorderly conduct.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Joshua Ryan Daniell of Early on a warrant related to two charges of display expired registration, two charges of violate promise to appear, no insurance.
