Tuesday, April 29

*7:09 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of E. Commerce regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, the complainant advised that she had left her purse in her vehicle while it was parked at a north Brownwood hotel, and when she returned to leave, she discovered a window broken out of the vehicle and the purse missing.  An investigation of this incident also led to identifying the subjects involved in a theft from Wal-Mart, the report states.

*1:51 PM – While assisting with a warrant service in the 1500 block of Terrace Drive, two males walked up requesting to speak with a Brownwood Police officer about an incident of criminal mischief.

*4:11 PM – While investigating a vehicle burglary, a Brownwood Police officer was informed by an anonymous subject that one of the subjects he was questioning was also involved in a theft from Wal-Mart.  After completing the investigation, all subjects involved in the theft were identified, the report states.  The investigation also led to more items being discovered stolen from Wal-Mart by the same subjects.  The anonymous person also advised that the female had provided the officer the wrong name and date of birth, according to the report.  Wal-Mart officials wished to pursue charges against the subjects involved, the report states.

Wednesday, April 30

*12:03 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that a male subject had stolen several parts off of his pickup, while the pickup was at the subject’s garage.  The complainant wished to pursue charges for theft.

*8:44 PM – Brown County Deputy Byron Langley was dispatched to the area of FM 3100 and County Road 351 regarding suspicious activity.  According to the report, Deputy Langley observed a male on an orange front loading tractor, loading loose gravel from a pile at the intersection into a dump trailer attached to a pickup. The male stated that he had been given permission to take the gravel by Precinct Commissioner Wayne Shaw, the report states.

Thursday, May 1

*12:32 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of 6th Street and Avenue B.  This stop led to the arrest of 42-year-old Ruben Cadena of Brownwood for a warrant out of Scurry County related to possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*4:45 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the area of 3rd Street and Avenue D regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, dispatch advised the officers that three juveniles had just broken a window at a house at the corner of this location.  The juveniles were located and a criminal mischief report was generated, the report states.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 40-year-old Fabian Duke Gomez of Brownwood on a warrant related to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Dylan Robert Kennedy of Dallas on Collin County warrants related to commit/motion to revoke possession and driving while intoxicated 2nd.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 49-year-old Joseph Daniel Maxwell on a warrant related to driving while intoxicated.  Maxwell was released from the Brown County Jail on a $10,000 bond.

*The Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 21-year-old Leila Nicole Schulze of Brownwood for Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone.  Schulze was released from the Brown County Jail on a $15,000 bond.
