LECSm Brownwood TX Law enforcement arrests and reports released Thursday, May 2, 2013.

Wednesday, May 1

*9:42 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the complainant reported that an unknown suspect(s) broke a window in one of the bedrooms of her apartment.

*10:21 AM – Brownwood Police received a report of the burglary of a habitation via telephone.

*10:55 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of E. Commerce regarding an unwanted person.  According to the report, the female subject was issued a criminal trespass warning and left the area without further incident.

*1:17 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding an assault.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her mother assaulted her.  The incident was documented, the report states.

*2:11 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart, 401 W. Commerce, regarding theft.  According to the report, a male and female were observed removing tags from store merchandise and concealing the items in a purse.  The couple was then observed passing all points of sale without any attempt to pay for the items, the report states.  The total amount of the items recovered was $106.59, according to the report.  This call led to the arrest of 54-year-old Ricky Gale Crawford for theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was on patrol on Hwy 279 when he noticed the driver of a pickup traveling northbound was not secured by the seat belt.  According to the report, upon making contact with the occupants of the vehicle, the male driver and female passenger appeared nervous and had discrepancies in the story of where they had been and how long they had been with each other.  Due to the occupants’ nervousness, the officer asked to search the vehicle and was denied, the report states.  However, an open air search in which the K-9 alerted to the vehicle gave probable cause for a search, the report states.  Methamphetamine and packaging material was found under the front seat, a multi-colored backpack in the passenger seat which contained methamphetamine and pills identified as lorazepan and lortab were also found during the search, according to the report.  The occupants, identified as 30-year-old Brandon Loyd Day of Early and 26-year-old Chaplin Cheyenne Delarosa of Early were arrested.  Day was charged with manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 1 gram less than 4 grams and Delarosa was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams, and manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or less than 1 gram.

*Brownwood Police arrested 44-year-old Chad William Beasley for public intoxication.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 53-year-old Charles Ray Duncan of Early for assault causes bodily injury family violence.

*31-year-old Beverly Renee Gandy turned herself in on a warrant related to driving while intoxicated 2nd.

*Brownwood Police arrested 58-year-old Victor V. Gonzales for public intoxication 3rd enhanced.

*20-year-old Anthony Miguel Leija of Coleman was arrested on three warrants related to minor in possession, open container and failure to appear.

*Early Police arrested 34-year-old Margaret Loehman of San Angelo on a warrant for a parole violation related to the burglary of a habitation.

*Brownwood Police arrested 28-year-old Selso Ortiz Martinez for a parole violation.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 26-year-old Devenure Michelle McBride on warrants related to violate promise to appear and open container.

*Brownwood Police arrested 30-year-old Kathryn Abigail Pirkle on warrants related to parent contributing to truancy and failure to appear.

*42-year-old Alisha Michelle Thomas turned herself in on a warrant related to a probation violation.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old Allisha Dawn Wallace on a warrant related to assault causes bodily injury family violence.

Thursday, May 2

*1:38 AM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart, 401 W. Commerce regarding theft.  This call led to the arrest of 32-year-old Julie Ann Barrios for theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500.
