Wednesday, May 14

*11:03 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of N. Fisk Avenue, Wild Bill’s Pawn Shop,  regarding theft.  According to the report, an employee stated that a male subject had stolen an air tool and had pawned it at EZ Pawn.  The suspect was located and a report was made.

*6:30 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding theft.  According to the report, loss prevention employees had caught a male subject allegedly stealing two cases of beer and some potato chips.  The male was issued a citation for theft.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the theft of machinery.  According to the report, the complainant stated that a known suspect stole three sewer machines and two automatic drives for the sewer machines from the complainant’s carport.  The sewer machines were valued at $1000 and the automatic drives were valued at $150, the report states.

*Brownwood Police arrested 21-year-old Michael James Bass of Brownwood for theft of property equal or greater than $20 less than $500 by check.

*30-year-old Cameron Mark Helge of Brownwood turned himself in on a warrant regarding possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old Michael Glenn Jacobs of Brownwood on a warrant related to failure to appear/burglary of a building.  Jacobs was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bond as of Thursday morning.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 45-year-old Lia Daun Lanier of Tye on a warrant related to motion to revoke/driving while intoxicated 3rd or more.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 41-year-old Lucilla Ortega of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to revoke/theft of property greater than $500 less than $1500.
