Thursday, May 7
*10:18 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy investigated an illegal dumping site on private property which was located in the county, near Brownwood.
Tuesday, May 12
*10:58 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy investigated a case of illegal dumping in the area of County Road 600, north of CR 611. According to the report, an unknown subject had dumped a number of Trash bags on her property without permission.
Wednesday, May 13
*8:55 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3000 block of Asbury regarding theft.
*9:08 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of Bluffview regarding theft.
*4:17 PM – A Brown County sheriff’s deputy was called to a property on Monaghan regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, the complainant stated that an unknown person entered their vehicle and stole two Ziploc style sandwich baggies containing raffle receipts and approximately $170 cash and two baggies containing approximately $25 in coins.*6:59 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding a possible incident of driving under the influence. According to the report, a caller stated they had observed a pickup “swerving all over the road,” and that the vehicle had pulled into Walmart. The caller further explained that the male driver of the vehicle got out of the pickup and staggered toward to store, the report states. Police located the driver who admitted to drinking tequila before driving, according to the report. The driver, identified as 60-year-old Mark Bradley Wynn of Brownwood, failed standardized field sobriety tests and was subsequently arrested for driving while intoxicated 2nd and a blood specimen was collected, the report states.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 30-year-old Richard Paul Fields of Brownwood on a warrant related to consumption of alcohol near school.
*Brownwood Police arrested 26-year-old Zackary Ryan Haynes of Brownwood on a parole warrant.
*Brownwood Police arrested 34-year-old Rollie Galvan Lopez of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 1 gram less than 4 grams and evading arrest or detention with previous conviction.
*Early Police arrested 29-year-old Jimmy Wayne Sellers of Brownwood for assault family violence.
