Friday, May 10

*4:00 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was attempting to serve two warrants to a male subject, identified as 18-year-old Trevolia Jaleel Rudd, who was at the Heartland Mall in Early.  According to the report, Rudd avoided eye contact and then exited the building, ran across the parking lot and into a vacant field by the One Source Health Clinic.  He was seen taking off his jacket and t-shirt in an attempt to disguise himself, and was located hiding and crouching down in some brush, the report states.   Rudd was placed under arrest for the warrants and was additionally charged with evading arrest/detention.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on Hwy 279 where there was a report of an assault with bodily injury; the woman reported that her husband had assaulted her.

Saturday, May 11

*2:00 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy performed a knock and talk at a local motel and received permission to search the room for illegal narcotics or weapons.  During the search, the deputy found a destroyed syringe and spoon in the tank of the toilet and a small red colored baggy filled with white powdery substance that tested positive for methamphetamine, the report states.  The occupant, identified as 26-year-old Lindsey Buzbee of May, also had hidden a small plunge from the syringe previously found in her pants, the report states.  Buzbee was arrested for tampering with or fabricating physical evidence and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 20 grams.

*2:00 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a burglary of a building.  According to the complainant, approximately $2500 worth of various welding tools had been stolen from the detached garage on the property.  No arrest had been made at the time of the report.

*After making a traffic stop on 6th Street in Bangs, a Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was advised by dispatch that the driver, George Ford, had a warrant out of Coleman County for his arrest.  At the time of his arrest, a pat search of Ford did not locate anything illegal; however, when the deputy had the subject exit the back of the patrol car, a small clear baggy filled with a white substance was found and tested positive for methamphetamine and weighed .5 grams, the report states.  Ford was additionally charged with tampering or fabricating physical evidence and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 20 grams.

Sunday, May 12

*12:16 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met with a complainant at her home on County Road 103 regarding a prior theft of property which had occurred.  According to the report, the complainant had been contacted by the Coleman County Sheriff’s Office regarding property they had located from burglary investigation.  She went to her residence after speaking with a CCSO deputy, found she was missing numerous pieces of jewelry as well as an iPad and a Wii gaming system.  Cost of the items stolen was estimated at $6100.

*12:19 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy received a report of stolen livestock.  According to the report, two 5-year-old heifers and one 6-month-old heifer were stolen from the property after an unknown suspect removed the hinges to the entry gate.  The animals were valued at $3000, the report states.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the burglary of a habitation on County Road 334.  According to the report, a brown metal gun safe containing a Ruger pistol and three magazines loaded with 9mm jacketed hollow point ammunition were stolen.

Monday, May 13

*9:01 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2400 block of Vincent Street regarding theft.

*5:28 PM – Brownwood Police were called to a residence in the 3400 block of 3rd Street regarding theft.  According to the report, complainant stated that his son’s phone was stolen from at Brownwood High School gym.  No suspects had been identified at the time of the report.

*6:55 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2300 block of Austin Avenue regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, a physical altercation occurred between a married couple which was documented.

*10:24 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of 12th Street regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the father of her child assaulted her, damaged her property, interfered with her attempt to call the Brownwood Police and refused to let her leave the residence.  The suspect had left the scene prior to the responding officer’s arrival and could not be located at the time, the report states.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44-year-old Chad William Beasley on a warrant related to theft of property.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on County Road 267 regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the complainant stated that someone damaged a gate and entered the property with a vehicle and damaged vegetation growing in the field.  The estimated damage to the crops was approximately $1,000.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to a residence on County Road 278 regarding theft.  According to the report, the homeowner stated that sometime between 7:45 p.m. on May 12th and 9:30 a.m. on May 13th, someone stole an 80 gallon propane tank from the back yard of the residence.  The value of the tank and fuel was $500 according to the report, and the complainant wished to pursue charges if a suspect could be identified.

*27-year-old Brody Tyler Byrd turned himself in on a warrant related to possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone.

*33-year-old Sunshine Sliger Dudley turned herself in on a warrant related to driving while intoxicated.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 39-year-old Javier Torres of Del Rio for money laundering.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Pamela Gayle White of Bangs on a warrant related to driving while license invalid.

Tuesday, May 14th

*Brownwood Police arrested 18-year-old Andre Allen for possession of marijuana equal or less than 2 ounces in a drug free zone and tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair.

*Brownwood Police arrested 17-year-old Henry Rivas for possession of marijuana equal or less than 2 ounces in a drug free zone and tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of stolen cattle from a property on County Road 423W in May.  According to the report, 8-15 Black Angus calves, approximately 2-months-old, were taken from the property.  17-19 mother cows along with two other claves were still on the property, the report states.

*23-year-old Raul Antonio Lopez turned himself in on a warrant related to possession of marijuana/motion to adjudicate.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 41-year-old Maxy Lynn Thetford for assault causes bodily injury family violence.
