EarlyPDLogoEarly Police Officer Michelle Sheedy received a call of a suspicious vehicle with possible drug activity and weapons in the 100 block of Yucca Tree Circle in Early which led to the arrest of two people on multiple drug related offenses Wednesday, May 13.

According to the report, when Officer Sheedy arrived at the scene along with backup officer Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Terry Sliter, they observed a white pickup parked on the edge of the road with two individuals inside. As the officers approached the vehicle, 29-year- old Dylan Lin Weaver of Odessa (the driver of the vehicle), quickly tried to exit the vehicle and dropped a Velcro-fastened pouch to the ground as he got out, the report states.

When the officers checked the contents of the pouch, under 40 grams of black tar heroin in a plastic wrap, two syringes loaded with methamphetamine and 1 syringe loaded with Heroin were located, according to police.  After a further search of the vehicle, they located two sets of scales and packaging material and a bottle containing 300 doses of methadone, the report states.  The passenger of the vehicle was identified as 30-year-old Terri LeeAnn Tucker of San Angelo.

Both Weaver and Tucker were arrested and taken to the Brown County Jail where Weaver was strip-searched, which located a bag in his crotch containing 6.5 grams of heroin, 10 grams of methamphetamine, and 4.5 grams of Xanax, the report states.  Weaver was booked into jail for charges including manufacturing and delivery of controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams (Xanax), manufacture and delivery of controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams (heroin), manufacture and delivery of controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams (methamphetamine),  manufacture and delivery of controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams (methadone) and tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair, a third degree felony. Terri LeeAnn Tucker was charged with manufacture and delivery of controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4grams less than 200 grams (heroin), manufacture and delivery of controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams (methamphetamine), manufacture and delivery of controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams (methadone).

*4:02 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 800 block of Rogan Street regarding alleged indecency with a child by touch.  A suspect was identified and an investigation is ongoing, the report states.

Monday, May 11

*9:48 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 700 block of W. Commerce regarding speeding 44 mph in a 35 mph zone.

*3:24 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2200 block of Avenue B regarding a child who was bitten by a dog.

*3:58 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 500 block of 7th Street to assist EMS with a male subject who had been bitten by a dog.  The male victim was transported to the hospital for treatment, the report states.

*6:09 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1300 block of Magnolia regarding theft.  According to the report, household appliances, a mattress, and electronic equipment were stolen from the residence.

Tuesday, May 12

*7:50 AM – Early police officers responded to the report of a major accident at C. C. Woodson and Williams Ranch Road. According to the report, a white car north bound on Williams Ranch Road pulled onto C. C. Woodson and did not see an east bound white car due to a vehicle turning onto William Ranch Road blocking the west bound view of the driver. Two females were transported to the BRMC emergency room by EMS with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle coming off of Williams Ranch Road was issued two citations for failure to yield right of way/stop sign and no driver’s license. Early Volunteer Fire Department and Brownwood Fire Department responded.  Firefighters extricated one female using the jaws of life.  Brown County Sheriff’s deputies and Department of Public Safety troopers assisted at the scene.

 

*10:00 AM – Early Police Department received a report of a domestic disturbance in the 200 block of Gorman Drive. As a result of this call, 30-year-old Jimmy Sellers was arrested for assault family violence after assaulting his mother.

 

*11:31 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 4300 block of Brookdale Drive regarding an assault.  According to the report, a female complainant stated that a known suspect broke into her home and attempted to assault her.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 18-year-old Lakdisha Anthony of Brownwood on three warrants related to ran stop sign, no driver’s license and violate promise to appear.

*40-year-old Sereio Castillo of Brownwood turned himself in on a warrant related to duty on striking fixture/highway landscape equal or greater than $20.

*Brown county Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Tommy Morales of Ranger on a warrant related to motion to revoke/possession of marijuana.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 18-year-old Nathan Emrys Willson of Brownwood on a probation violation.  Willson was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bond as of Wednesday morning.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22-year-old Tyler Austin Wylie of Brownwood for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces equal or greater than 20 ounces.
