Monday, May 12
*9:28 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1100 block of Santa Clara regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant advised that some of her prescription medications had been stolen the previous day. A possible suspect was named and the complainant wished to pursue charges for the theft, the report states.
*10:27 AM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding two separate incidents of theft from his residence in the last week.
*11:09 AM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that his ex-girlfriend had stolen his golf clubs.
*12:23 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Wal-Mart regarding theft. According to the report, asset protection employees had a male subject detained for having concealed items and walking past all points of sale, never attempting to purchase the items. The male, identified as 40-year-old Billy Joe Stearns of Blanket, was arrested for theft equal or greater than $50 less than $500 and issued a criminal trespass warning for the store.*11:39 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy John Gramling conducted a traffic stop on a pickup in the 1100 block of Early Blvd. According to the report, the occupants, a male driver and (passenger) 33-year-old Amber Nicole Head of Brownwood displayed nervousness upon contact by the deputy. Consent to search the vehicle was granted which led to the discovery of narcotics in Head’s possessions, the report states. Head was placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 in a drug free zone.
*21-year-old Jody Duvall Burns of Brownwood was arrested on warrants related to firearm smuggling and theft of firearm/condition of probation.
*Early Police arrested 53-year-old Randy Lee Crawford of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2A less than 2 ounces, possession of drug paraphernalia, speeding 45 mph in a 30 mph zone, failure to appear.
*Early Police arrested 22-year-old Charles Devlynn Dyess of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance 2-A less than 2 ounces, failure to identify/give false/fictional information, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Justin Lynn Weiershausen of Early on charges of manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone.
Tuesday, May 13
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 18-year-old Bridget Gonzales of Crowley on warrants related to three counts of assault public servant.
*17-year-old Guadalupe Martinez, Jr. of McAllen was arrested by Texas Juvenile Justice Department on charges of assault public servant.
