Wednesday, May 11
*11:43 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of 3rd Street regarding theft. According to the report, power tools, hand tools, and lawn equipment were stolen from the backyard and a storage building on the property.
*3:00 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the Brown County Courthouse regarding a suspicious suspect on Wednesday at approximately 3:00 p.m. According to law enforcement, the subject entered the courthouse and a Brown County Sheriff’s deputy working security noticed a smell of marijuana on the individual. The subject, identified as 50-year-old John David Laubhan of Santa Anna, was found to be driving an ice cream truck where marijuana was located. Laubhan was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Irene Nicole Hernandez of Brownwood on a warrant related to driving while intoxicated with child under 15 years of age.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Andrea Middleton of Albrite, West Virginia on a Comal County warrant related to possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 44-year-old Shelley Beth Schafer of Brownwood on surety withdrawals related to two counts of possession of a controlled substance.*Brownwood Police arrested 32-year-old Sarah Marie Uballe of Brownwood for assault causes bodily injury family violence.
Thursday, May 12
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Lakisha Anthony of Brownwood on a surety withdrawal related to possession of marijuana less than 4 ounces in a drug free zone.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Donathon Kane Ellsworth of Abilene for manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 1 gram less than 4 grams.
*Brownwood Police arrested 38-year-old Tony Lee Jones of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40-year-old Kendra Lynette Peach of Brownwood on warrants related to failure to appear and driving while license invalid.
*Brown County Sheriff’s office arrested 39-year-old Angela Marie Phillips of Aiken, South Carolina on warrants related to two counts of failure to appear/possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone. Phillips was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $95,000 as of Thursday morning.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 22-year-old Marcus Alton Phillips of Brownwood on warrants related to failure to appear/aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and on a surety withdrawal related to possession of marijuana greater than 4 ounces less than 5 pounds. Phillips was being held in the Brown County Jail on bonds totaling $300,000 as of Thursday morning.
