Friday, April 25
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made contact with a caller regarding the confirmation of a case of rabies. According to the report, the caller’s dog had attacked a skunk in the area of County Road 456 and the skunk was sent to the lab for testing by a veterinarian’s office. Testing of the skunk revealed a confirmed case of rabies, the report states. The owner of the dog was instructed to quarantine the dog for 45 days in-home and given instructions of the quarantine procedures, according to the report.
Wednesday, April 30
*8:20 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2600 block of Crockett Drive regarding the burglary of a building. An investigation led to the arrest of Kyle Blackburn for burglary of a building, the report states.
*Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on Hwy 377 East regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, two televisions were stolen and no suspect information was available.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on Comanche Drive regarding an assault which had occurred earlier in the day. According to the report, the victim stated that 39-year-old Jennifer Diaz of May had shoved her down during the assault. Diaz was located and arrested for an active parole warrant, the report states. Diaz complained of chest pain and was taken to the emergency room where she was later medically cleared for jail, according to the deputy’s report. She was also issued a criminal trespass warning for the victim’s address.
*Early Police arrested 26-year-old Prajjwol Acharya on a warrant related to manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams.
*Brownwood Police arrested 19-year-old Kyle Scott Blackburn of Early for burglary of a building.
*Early Police arrested 36-year-old Houdini Matthew Douglas of Aurora, Colorado on charges of possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces in a drug free zone and possession of drug paraphernalia.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Ramiro Juan Huerta of Brownwood on a warrant related to contempt of court.
*26-year-old Chelsea Rene Mallone of Bangs turned herself in on a warrant related to possession of marijuana.
Thursday, May 1
*12:48 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 1900 block of Good Shepherd Drive. During the stop, the officer detected the odor of marijuana from inside the vehicle, the report states. 20-year-old Ashlynn Brooke Montemayor (the driver), 18-year-old Kassi Shaylynn Montemayor, 17-year-old Makahla Danielle Brewer, 18-year-old Jeron Tyrell Roberson and an unnamed juvenile, all of Brownwood, were arrested for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces. The juvenile was later released to the custody of his/her guardians, the report states.
*3:30 AM – A Brownwood police officer while finishing up with the investigation of the burglary of a building from the previous night, learned that one subject which officers spoke with about the burglary had a criminal trespass warning against him for the hospital property and a report was generated regarding the trespass.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Alberto Cantu of Bangs on a warrant related to motion to revoke/possession of marijuana equal or less than 2 ounces in a drug free zone.
