Friday, April 3
*Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3100 block of Austin Avenue, Mills County State Bank, regarding fraud. According to the report, the complainant stated that someone was taking money out of his account. A withdrawal of $200 had been made at an ATM located at an EZ-Mart in Alvarado, Texas on March 30th, the report states. After this withdrawal, money began coming out of his account, the total amount at this time was $2410.00. The complainant stated that he was still in possession of his debit card, that he and his mother are the only ones on the account and that the charges were made in Arlington, Grand Prairie, and Houston. His mother did not make the charges and had not traveled to those cities during the time the withdrawals were made. The investigation is ongoing, the report states.
Tuesday, April 7
*2:01 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding a vehicle burglary.Wednesday, April 8
*6:30 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of 1st Street regarding an unwanted person. According to the report, a male subject identified as 34-year-old Justin Neil Wallace of Brownwood was intoxicated and trying to break into the complainant’s residence. Wallace was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and public intoxication, the report states.
*11:40 AM – Brownwood Police responded to a domestic disturbance in the 1500 block of Davis Lane. According to the report, officers were able to determine a primary aggressor and the incident was documented.
*12:00 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of E. Commerce regarding a citizen’s dispute with two elderly females actively fighting. According to the report, the officer arrived to find both females on the ground, one on top of the other. The females were separated and both stated that there have been ongoing problems between the two, the report states. Both females had minor injuries including scrapes and red marks according to law enforcement. Each of the females was issued a citation to appear before the Brownwood Municipal Court for the offense of disorderly conduct fighting.
*2:23 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding fraud/forgery.
*5:17 PM – Brownwood Police were called to Walmart regarding criminal trespass. This call led to the arrest of 23-year-old Ashley Lynn Fulcher for criminal trespass, the report states.
* 6:36 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 1000 block of W. Commerce, Nita’s Bail Bonds, regarding a wanted person. This call led to the arrest of 24-year-old Kandice Nicole Carr on a Brown County warrant. Carr was additionally charged with resist arrest, search or transport.
*6:55 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of San Benito regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the complainant stated that an individual had shot bullet holes through interior walls of the home. The investigation is ongoing, the report states.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to Main Blvd regarding a report of malnourished horses. According to the report, the horses were located and the owner identified. The deputy stated in his report that the horses were old but appeared to be underweight and he documented the situation.
*29-year-old Matias Buitron, Jr. of Brownwood was arrested on a parole warrant.
*Brownwood Police arrested 46-year-old Treasa Louise Christy of Bangs on warrants related to public intoxication and failure to appear/bail jumping.
*Brownwood Police arrested 26-year-old Valentina Louise Hambrick of Three Rivers, Texas on a warrant related to criminal nonsupport.
*Early Police arrested 35-year-old Jose Guadalupe Rodriguez of Denton for driving while license invalid with previous conviction.
Thursday, April 9
*Brownwood Police arrested 26-year-old Enrique Guadalupe Ortega III on warrants related to delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and manufacture with intent to deliver simulated controlled substance. Ortega was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond as of Thursday morning.
*Brownwood Police arrested 24-year-old Roseanne Ortega on a warrant related to manufacture with intent to deliver simulated controlled substance. Ortega was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bond as of Thursday morning.
