Wednesday, April 6

*3:29 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of W.  Commerce Street regarding suspicious activity.  According to the report, the caller had reported that a pickup had been parked at the gas pumps with its lights on and had been there since 1:00 a.m.  This call led to the arrest of 32-year-old Christopher Burfield of Coleman, Texas for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 greater than 1 gram less than 4 grams and possession of marijuana.

*8:04 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop in the 1400 block of FM 590.  According to the report, this stop led to the arrest of the driver, identified as 51-year-old Chadwick Lee Avery of Zephyr, Texas.  After further investigation, Avery was placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram, possession of drug paraphernalia, expired motor vehicle registration, and failure to maintain financial responsibility.

*2:01 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2700 block of 4th Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle during the overnight hours.

*2:52 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 100 block of Miller Drive regarding fraud.  According to the report, $157 was stolen from the elderly complainant’s account through use of a debit card.

*11:45 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of Avenue A regarding a terroristic threat.  According to the report, officers found that the suspect had also entered into the complainant’s residence without permission.  The incident was documented, the report states.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 42-year-old Michael Joe Anderson of Rising Star, Texas on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/indecency with a child sexual contact.

*Brownwood Police arrested 21-year-old Thomas Gabriel Cerda of Brownwood on warrants related to motions to revoke for two counts of possession of marijuana (Nolan and Brown Counties).

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 45-year-old Michael Homer Reyna of Bangs on warrants related to indecency with a child sexual contact and failure to maintain financial responsibility.  Reyna was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond as of Thursday morning.

Thursday, April 7

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Adriana Marina Carrillo of Brownwood on warrants related to surety withdrawals for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or less than 400 grams, unlawful possession of a firearm by felon, prohibited weapon, and manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone.  Carrillo was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $45,000 as of Thursday morning.
