Monday, April 4

*2:03 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of 4th Street regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, electronics, sporting goods, tools and 30-40 DVDs were stolen from the residence.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy received a report of harassment.  According to the report, a known suspect had allegedly texted and sent private Facebook messages to the complainant regarding a pending criminal case.  The suspect is alleged to have forged 2 checks, which belonged to the complainant.  The messages started after the suspect was arrested on a grand jury indictment warrant in the forged checks case.

Tuesday, April 5

*8:27 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence in Blanket, Texas regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the complainant stated that someone had egged his vehicle and put toilet paper on one of his trees.

*11:13 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Calvert Road regarding a student at Brownwood Middle School being in possession of a hydrocodone pill.  According to the report, the student was taken into custody and transported to the Brownwood Police Department for processing, then taken to the juvenile detention center where the student was released to staff on duty.

*3:23 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office received the report of fraud.  According to the report, the complainant stated she had lost $400.00 to a scam.

*4:58 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Avenue E regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, a known suspect was identified and the incident was determined to be burglary with intent to commit an assault was documented.

*8:39 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Lane Street regarding theft.  According to the report, two possible suspects have been identified.

*10:16 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy received a phone call regarding an assault that had occurred at a Brown County residence.  According to the report, the complainant stated a female identified as 21-year-old Questah Marie Chandler of Brownwood had assaulted them.  The deputy observed a superficial injury to the complainant’s right cheek and witness statements verified that Chandler had assaulted the complainant.  Chandler was arrested for class A assault causes bodily injury.

*33-year-old Stephanie Marie Baldwin of Brownwood turned herself in on a warrant related to credit or debit card abuse.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Alicia Diana Green of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to revoke/possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone.

*Coleman County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Ricardo Homero Hurtado of Coleman on a warrant related to failure to appear/possession of a controlled substance.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old David Bruce Knight of Goldthwaite for manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 greater than 1 gram less than 4 grams.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 50-year-old Phillip Llyod Lemmons of Bangs on a warrant related to burglary of a habitation.

*Bangs Police arrested 51-year-old Sabrina Lynn Pierson of Bangs on warrants related to violate promise to appear, failure to appear, speeding and failure to maintain financial responsibility.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Bobye Leanne Powell of Early for manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Shay Lee Sledge of Brownwood on a warrant related to speeding 10% above limit.

Wednesday, April 6

*2:22 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Avenue D regarding an unwanted person.  According to the report, the complainant had warned the suspect 36-year-old Jason Moore earlier not to return to her residence.  After an investigation, Moore was arrested and charged with criminal trespass.

*Early Police arrested 43-year-old Joseph Nicholas Castaneda, Jr. of Brownwood for evading arrest/detention.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43-year-old Brian Warren Wellsandt of Brownwood on a parole violation.
