Thursday, March 31

*12:14 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy received a report via telephone of fraud.  According to the report, the complainant stated that he believes he has been scammed.  After further investigation, the deputy went to a business in Brownwood TX, which was connected to this scam and spoke with the witness on scene.  The deputy then traveled to a local bank to retrieve evidence.

Friday, April 1

*6:59 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 200 block of Center Avenue regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, a window had been broken at a business.

*8:31 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of W. Commerce Street regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, a vehicle on a local dealership’s lot had been vandalized, or “keyed.”  The cost of repairing the damage was estimated to $2453.76.

*9:49 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3700 block of South US Highway 377 regarding theft.  A female suspect was identified through surveillance video and was issued a citation for the theft less than $100.

*12:01 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding fraud.  According to the report, the complainant’s debit card was used to pay a utility bill.  The suspect is known, the report states.

*12:08 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property in May, Texas regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, the complainant stated his girlfriend had pushed him into the living room wall.  The complainant stated he is not injured and that he does not wish to pursue charges.

*3:06 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding fraud.  An investigation showed the complainant’s debit card was used without permission at a business in the 100 block of Market Place Blvd.

*10:07 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence near Lake Brownwood regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, an investigation at the scene led to the arrest of 41-year-old Magdelena Rincon Garcia of Brownwood for Injury to a child/elderly/disabled person.   Garcia was later released on $10,000 bond.

*Brownwood Police arrested 17-year-old Dustin Ray Aguirre of Brownwood for unlawful restraint.  Aguirre was later released on $15,000 bond.

*43-year-old Shelley Rene Demyan of Brownwood turned herself in on a warrant related to injury of a child/elderly/disabled.

*Brownwood Police arrested 38-year-old Amanda Lynn Eason, AKA Amanda Lynn Gibson on warrants related to expired driver’s license, failure to maintain financial responsibility and failure to appear.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Donald Stephan Glenn of Brownwood on a warrant related to credit card or debit card abuse.

*Early Police arrested 43-year-old James William King of Early on a warrant for sexual assault.  King was later released on $35,000 bond.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old Leslie Rae Rone of Brownwood for theft of property.

*Brownwood Police arrested 42-year-old Juan Galvan Salazar on a warrant related to manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams in a drug free zone.  Salazar was later released on $20,000 bond.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 41-year-old Summer Dawn Wyatt of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to revoke/driving while intoxicated, blood alcohol content equal or greater than 0.15.  Wyatt was later released on $10,000 bond.

Saturday, April 2

*6:52 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding criminal trespassing.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 56-year-old James Tindle of Brownwood for criminal trespass.

*8:29 PM – Two Brown County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a property in Bangs, Texas regarding the report of a domestic disturbance in progress.  According to the report, the deputy spoke with the victim and witnesses, determining the suspect Ruben White was the primary aggressor and that he had physically struck the victim.  White was arrested for injury to the elderly/family violence.  The victim was transported to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center by ambulance.

*9:57 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of W. Anderson Street regarding an assault.  According to the report, the complainant stated he had been assaulted by a known subject.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 20-year-old Payton Dean Anderson of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.  Anderson was later released on $10,000 bond.

*Brownwood Police arrested 55-year-old James Robert Funderburg and Ynuen Elosia Gamez, both of Brownwood, on a warrants related to abandon endanger child.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 44-year-old Maria Manning Mini of Loveland, Colorado for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2 equal or greater than 1 gram less than 4 grams.

*Early Police arrested 29-year-old David Anthony Moreno of Brownwood for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces and possession of drug paraphernalia.  He was also arrested for public intoxication.

*Brownwood Police arrested 41-year-old Dan Ross Olin, Jr. of Brownwood on a warrant related to continuous sexual abuse of a child.  Olin was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $150,000 bond as of Monday morning.

*Early Police arrested 18-year-old Kaleb Ray Russell of Lueders, Texas for criminal mischief equal or greater than $100 less than $750.

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 29-year-old Brandon Allen Stone of Brownwood on a warrant related to theft of services equal or greater than $100 less than $750.

Sunday, April 3

*1:25 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of E. Commerce regarding a civil dispute.

*4:04 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the area of the intersection of CR 564 and CR 601 regarding a hit and run accident.  According to the report, the responding deputy arrived on scene and met with three subjects who advised that a suspect had hit their car and drove back to a driveway.  The subject in question accused one of the occupants of the vehicle of assaulting him prior to the deputy’s arrival, the report states.  A field investigation was conducted, which ultimately resulted in an assault report being taken, according to law enforcement.

*5:23 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding criminal mischief.  A report of criminal mischief, assault, disorderly conduct and reckless driving was taken by the officer.

*7:07 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of Avenue E regarding a civil matter.  According to the report, an investigation determined the complainant’s ex-husband had been stalking her and information the violation of a restraining order for harassment.

*8:16 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to check on a suspicious vehicle parked behind the storage units located in the 3900 block of US 183 South.  According to the report, during the deputy’s initial contact, he detected the odor of marijuana coming from inside the car and conducted a probable cause search of the car. The search led to the discovery of a usable amount of marijuana, which resulted in the driver, identified as 29-year-old Joshua David Bradford of Conway, South Carolina, eventually being arrested for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, the report states.

*Brownwood Police were called to the area of Brick and W. Commerce Streets regarding a citizens’ dispute.  According to the report, Brown County Sheriff’s deputies were already on scene.  The officer conducted an investigation and determined an assault had taken place; however, none of the parties involved wished to pursue charges.

*11:57 PM – Brownwood Police performed a warrant service the 1000 block of W. Commerce regarding sex offender’s duty to register life/annually.  While the subject, identified as 21-year-old Reymundo Valdez, Jr. was arrested for the offense, he was found to be in possession of a firearm, the report states.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 39-year-old Shawn Lee Brantley of Santa Anna, Texas for evading arrest detention with vehicle with previous conviction and prohibited weapon.  Brantley was later released on bonds totaling $17,500.

*Bangs Police arrested 22-year-old Kyndle Rae Kellam of Brownwood on warrants related to two counts of forgery of a financial instrument.  Kellam was later related ton bonds totaling $10,000.

*Brownwood Police arrested 40-year-old Samuel Lynn Lockhart of Brownwood for evading arrest detention with previous conviction, resisting arrest search or transport and failure to appear/possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.  Lockhart was being held in the Brown County Jail on $22,500 bond as of Monday morning.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44-year-old Richard William Ray, Jr. for evading arrest or detention with vehicle, driving while intoxicated 2nd and possession use inhale/ingest volatile chemical.

*Brownwood Police arrested 32-year-old Billy Dewayne Scott of Brownwood on a parole warrant.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 74-year-old Ruben Elbert White of Bangs for injury to a child/elderly/disabled with intentional bodily injury.

Monday, April 4

*12:24 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a Brownwood residence regarding an assault with injury.  According to the report, a female victim stated her estranged husband, who had already left the location, had assaulted her.

*2:06 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1100 block of Avenue G regarding a burglary.
