Monday, March 31

*10:42 AM – Adam Raymond Castillo was arrested for assault causes bodily injury family violence.  According to the report, the assault occurred while the victim (the suspect’s ex-girlfriend) was driving.  According to the report, the victim stated that she and Castillo had been separated for approximately 4 months and that they have a child together.  She further explained that Castillo accused her of cheating on him and then assaulted her, the report states.

Wednesday, April 2

*6:59 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of W. Commerce after a Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper noticed two males behind Staples, who were about to get into a physical altercation.  According to the report, the trooper indicated that both males were intoxicated to a point where they were a danger to themselves and others.  This call led to the arrest of 45-year-old Chad Beasley of Brownwood for public intoxication with three prior convictions.

*7:03 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 100 block of Riverside Park Drive regarding drugs/narcotics.  According to the report, an anonymous caller described a suspect vehicle as a black mustang parked near the trail area of the park.  Narcotic equipment was found inside the Mustang and the driver was identified and issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia.

*10:02 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident in the area of 7th Street and Brady Avenue.  According to the report, after an investigation, the driver of one vehicle, identified as 20-year-old Jamie Hernandez of Brownwood was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

*Brown County Sheriff’s office received a report of the theft of a firearm, identified as a Ruger LCP .380 semi-automatic hand gun equipped with a trace laser sight.  According to the report, the theft is believed to have occurred around June 2013 while at a local car dealership.  The gun and sight were valued at $500 by the owner, the report states.

*Brownwood Police arrested 25-year-old Brook Raymond Bindel of Brownwood on a warrant for driving while intoxicated.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Zackery Carlos Juan Cadena of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/delivery of marijuana less than 1/4 ounces equal or less than 5 pounds in a drug free zone.  Cadena is being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $10,000.

*Brownwood Police arrested 63-year-old Robert Lee Danner of May for public intoxication.

*Brownwood Police arrested 30-year-old James Flowers of Brownwood on an Arkansas parole warrant.

*64-year-old Larry Wayne Minica of Early turned himself in on a warrant related to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.  Minica is being held at the Brown County Jail in lieu of $10,000.
