Monday, April 27

*11:21 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2500 block of Coggin Avenue regarding terroristic threat.  According to the report, the complainant had been threatened and had her cell phone damaged while at a residence in the 2500 block of Coggin Avenue.  The suspect is known, the report states.

*11:28 AM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding identity theft.

*4:05 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 100 block of Market Place Blvd regarding a hit and run accident.  According to the report, the complainant’s vehicle was struck while parked in a local business parking lot, knocking off the passenger side mirror.  The incident was believed to have occurred on April 27th.

Tuesday, April 28

*10:06 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 600 China Street regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, the complainant stated that while she and her boyfriend were arguing, he broke her cell phone.

*5:00 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of Bluffview Drive regarding an unwanted person.  According to the report, a juvenile female was irate and uncooperative with officers, refusing to provide her name.  Officers attempted to speak with the juvenile female who began to make threats toward another subject in the apartment complex, and she was placed under arrest for criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, failure to identify and terroristic threat, the report states.  As officers escorted the female to the patrol car for transport, she began resisting arrest and fought with officers, refusing to walk or get into the vehicle, which resulted in an additional charge of resisting arrest.

*7:31 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Duke Street regarding the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, while the complainant was away from his home, someone stole his PlayStation 4.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Shawn Lee Hickey of Blanket for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone, possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces in a drug free zone and resist arrest/search.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Alesha Hoskins of Cameron on a warrant related to a surety withdrawal/possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams.  Hoskins was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bond as of Wednesday morning.

*Brownwood Police arrested 40-year-old Cheryl L. Spiers of Brownwood on warrants related to failure to appear/theft of property equal or greater than $20 less than $500 by check (Kerr County) and Theft by Check greater than $20 less than $500 (Bexar County).

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 25-year-old Kalista Kay Sudderth of Brownwood on warrants related to failure to maintain financial responsibility and failure to appear.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Cody Williams on a warrant related to four counts of aggravated robbery.  Williams is being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $150,000 bond.

Wednesday, April 29

*1:26 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Good Shepherd regarding a domestic disturbance.  This call led to the arrest of 54-year-old Enrique Salazar, AKA Henry Adam Salazar, of Brownwood for assault with injury family violence, the report states.

*1:51 AM – Brownwood Police were called to a residence on Cindy Cove regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the complainant advised that her ex-boyfriend had damaged her window and door and she wished to pursue criminal charges.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old Zackery Kyle Valdez of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated with child and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Brownwood Police arrested 25-year-old Detavius Jamar Wells of Brownwood for no driver’s license and failure to maintain financial responsibility.
