Friday, April 25
*4:35 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Kelly Marsh was dispatched to a residence on Valley View Drive regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that sometime between April 22 and April 25, 2014, an unknown person took her prescription hydrocodone medication. The medication was in 2 separate bottles which contained a total of 180 tablets, the report states. She also advised that 100 tablets had been taken in March, while she was in the hospital, Deputy Marsh’s report states.
Saturday, April 26
*Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Joe Thomas was dispatched to a residence on Avalon Drive regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that an unknown person(s) had stolen a diesel engine from outside his shop. The complainant named someone he believed was responsible for the theft, the report states.
Sunday, April 27
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office was called to a residence on Country Club Drive in Brownwood regarding fraud. According to the report, the complainant advised the deputy that she believed she was being scammed by a known suspect through a Craigslist posting. A report was taken on the incident.Monday, April 28
*12:08 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2500 block of Waco Street regarding the burglary of a habitation.
*1:47 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2700 block of Southside Drive regarding a student of the Brownwood Alternative High School having assaulted a teacher. According to the report, the student was “out of control” and police assistance was requested. The student was taken into custody, processed at the Brownwood Police Department and then transported to the Juvenile Detention Center. The student was suspended from the campus for three days and will be assigned to the Disciplinary Alternative Education Center for the remainder of the school year as school discipline.
*2:40 PM – Brownwood Police received a report of forgery at the law enforcement center. According to the report, a female complainant stated that someone had produced a check with her banking information on it, which was cashed, debiting her account in the amount of $1950.00.
*6:17 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 900 block of W. Baker Street regarding theft. According to the report, an Xbox 360 was stolen. The complainant stated that when he left his room at approximately 8:30 a.m., the Xbox was in his room when he left for work, but when he came home from work it was missing.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy John Gramling was dispatched to a property on Idlewild Drive regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant advised some metal had been stolen from the property where he and another person are working.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Taylor Fletcher took a report regarding fraud. According to the report, the complainant stated that an unknown person made a fraudulent attempt to open a credit card account in his name. No tangible property or money was taken in the offense, the report states.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office made a traffic stop which resulted in the arrest of 26-year-old Jerry Douglas, Jr. of Brownwood for manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 1 gram less than 4 grams.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office made a traffic stop which resulted in the arrest of 40-year-old Susan Michelle Chrane of Brownwood for manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Taylor David Hart of Zephyr on warrants related to motion to revoke/unlawful import-tax free fuel and motion to revoke/burglary of a habitation with intent to assault.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Brittany Ranae Kellems of Brownwood on warrants related to motion to adjudicate/failure to appear – tamper with government record and a surety withdrawal related to tampering with a government record.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Rebekah Kathleen Kennedy of Dallas at a local motel for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram. According to the report, after having been found to be in possession of a methamphetamine pipe, Kennedy was arrested and taken to the Brown County Jail where a couple of bags of meth were found in her bra, according to BCSO officials.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Heaven Michelle McClain of Brownwood on a warrant related to unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
