Friday, April 26
*2:53 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of W. Commerce regarding the burglary of a building. According to the report, officers met with the property owner who stated that several storage units were opened; however at the time of the report, it was unknown if any items had been stolen.
*5:28 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of 2nd Street regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that an unknown subject had stolen her morphine patches. No suspect information was available according to the report.
*11:23 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of W. Commerce, Stripes convenience store, regarding a hit and run accident. According to the report, a male driving a flat bed truck had struck two vehicles in the parking lot of the store and then fled the scene traveling toward Bangs on W. Commerce.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Valerie Frederick Lynn Bowden of May on warrants for driving while license invalid and no liability insurance.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Frank William Brummett on a warrant for motion to revoke for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams.*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Seth Evan Clark of Early on a warrant for his arrest for motion to revoke for possession of marijuana less than or equal to 2 ounces.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 38-year-old Alejandra Demestric Hall for public intoxication.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old Camron Mark Helge for evading arrest detention with vehicle.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Martin Pierce Knowles on a warrant for motion to adjudicate/aggravated assault with deadly weapon
*Brownwood Police arrested 21-year-old Antonio Martinez, Jr. on a warrant for assault family/house member impede breath/circulation.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 48-year-old Randy Lynn Sliger for motion to revoke/possession of a dangerous drug.
*34-year-old Katrina Leann White turned herself in on a warrant related to burglary of a habitation.
Saturday, April 27
*6:49 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2400 block of Vine Street regarding a hit and run accident. According to the report, the complainant stated that his pick-up truck had been struck sometime during the early morning hours of this date. Officers gathered evidence and spoke with a witness who stated that she heard the crash at approximately 5:00 AM, the report states. The complainant does wish to pursue criminal charges if a suspect can be determined, according to police.
*9:35 AM – Brownwood Police were called to 401 W. Commerce, Wal-Mart, regarding theft. According to the report, management at the store reported several hundred dollars worth of merchandise stolen from inside the store by unknown suspects. Later both suspects were identified and a report of theft filed at the request of management.
*9:46 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3500 block of Rhodes Road regarding disorderly conduct. According to the report, the complainant stated that his ex-girlfriend entered his residence this morning and destroyed his property. He stated that she also stole his cell phone charger and a pink t-shirt, the report states.
*9:52 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of 1st Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, the complainant stated that his deceased mother-in-law’s coin purse was stolen out of his vehicle. It was feared that someone might use his mother-in-law’s identification since she is deceased, the report states.
*11:29 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 800 block of Bailey regarding child abuse and neglect. According to the report, the complainant stated that a known suspect slapped her 4-year-old daughter. The Child Protective Services hotline was called and the incident was documented and a report filed with CPS for further investigation, the report states.
*2:10 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of E. Commerce regarding a welfare check. According to the report, contact was made with a female subject at the location and after a brief investigation; a report for assault family violence was filed. The suspect, identified as 25-year-old Patrick Edward Talbolt, was not on scene but located at his place of employment, the report states. Investigation determined that Talbolt was wanted on outstanding warrants for his arrest out of Oklahoma and Grayson County. Talbolt was arrested by Early Police and taken to the Brown County Jail where he is being held on bonds totaling $12,500.
*10:42 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the area of Southside Drive and Travis Street regarding speeding. This stop led to the arrest of 45-year-old Billy Skaggs for possession of a dangerous drug, failure to identify-fugitive/intentionally gives false information, and for an outstanding warrant related to failure to appear/possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams. Skaggs additionally received a citation for possession of an alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle. This stop led to the arrest of 46-year-old Michael Allen Marx for possession of a dangerous drug.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested Eleuterio Acevedo, Jr. for possession of marijuana greater than 4 ounces less than or equal to 5 pounds.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Joshua Ray Caperton for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram, possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2-A greater than 2 ounces equal or less than 4 ounces, possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, and criminal trespass.
*27-year-old Elizabeth Lynn Felipe of Coleman turned herself in on a warrant for motion to adjudicate/possession of a controlled substance.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44-year-old Amy Grady on a warrant related to disregard red light – traffic signal.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 20-year-old Jonathan Andrew Ortega for possession of marijuana greater than 4 ounces less than or equal to 5 pounds.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 19-year-old Santiago Perez for possession of marijuana greater than 4 ounces less than or equal to 5 pounds.
*Brownwood Police arrested 19-year-old Oscar Villa of San Saba on warrants related to failure to maintain financial responsibility and failure to appear.
Sunday, April 28
*1:24 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to Stripes convenience store, 601 W. Commerce, regarding theft. According to the report, an unknown white male and female entered the store and stole two 6-packs of beer. Clerks reported that the couple left in an early 90s model black Chevrolet Berretta.
*2:22 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Magnolia regarding a reckless driver. According to the report, this call led to the 32-year-old Timothy Jason Knox for reckless driving, driving while intoxicated 2nd and evading arrest.
*3:51 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, the complainant stated that his daughter and her boyfriend had been arguing and that his daughter’s boyfriend had held him down on the kitchen table. After the investigation, 33-year-old David E. Garcia was placed under arrest for assault with injury family violence, the report states.
*7:38 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3700 block of Savoy Drive regarding a burglary. According to the report, the complainant stated that her neighbors have been entering her apartment while she was at work and removing consumable goods.
*31-year-old Beverly Renee Gandy turned herself in on a warrant for her arrest related to criminal mischief equal or greater than $50 and less than $500.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old Robert Samuel Gomez on a warrant related to assault family violence.
*31-year-old Diana Mendieta turned herself in on a warrant related to assault causes injury family violence.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Jose J. Sanabria of Nolanville, Texas for driving while license invalid with previous convictions/suspension without financial responsibility.
Monday, April 29
*4:47 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of 4th Street regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the back glass on the complainant’s vehicle was damaged. The cost to replace the glass was estimated at $300.00.
