Monday, April 25

*12:30 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Mayes Street regarding a hit and run accident.  According to the report, the complainant stated someone had struck her vehicle during the night.  An investigation is ongoing the report states.

*2:01 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1400 block of Avenue E regarding theft.  According to the report, an investigation is ongoing, the report states.

Tuesday, April 26

*10:06 AM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding a stolen vehicle.  According to the report, the complainant stated that a known suspect apparently stole his vehicle and then used it in an attempt to elude police this past Saturday morning.

*11:24 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a local business in the 1200 block of Austin Avenue regarding theft.  According to the report, money was stolen from the business electronically.   The investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*11:35 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy received a report of criminal mischief.  According to the report, sometime between 6:00 PM on Monday, April 25 and 11: 10 AM on Tuesday, April 26, an unknown person(s) struck her trucks windshield with an unknown object while it was parked inside of her attached residential garage.  No suspects have been identified the report states.

*5:41 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property in Early, Texas regarding the burglary of a building.  According to the report, an unknown suspect or suspects cut the lock on a storage building at the rear of the property and removed multiple items including a Craftsman Riding mower, 2 weed eaters, and an air compressor among other items. There is no suspect listed, but persons of interest were named, the report states.

*10:54 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of Avenue C regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, the suspect had already left the area before the officer’s arrival.  The complainant stated that the suspect had damaged the front door in an attempt to make entry, the report states.  The complainant did wish to pursue criminal charges for criminal mischief, according to police.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 55-year-old Cynthia Lorene Flanagan of Brownwood of Brownwood on warrants related to driving while license invalid, too many permitted animals, and on surety withdrawals related to possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and possession of a dangerous drug.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 56-year-old Rebecca Rice Mills on warrants related to possession of drug paraphernalia and burglary of a vehicle.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35-year-old Amy Teresa Platter of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/burglary of a habitation.

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 66-year-old Linda Kay Roth of San Angelo on a warrant related to false report to a peace officer.

*Brownwood Police arrested 31-year-old Lydia Michelle Squyres of Brownwood on a parole warrant.

Wednesday, April 27

*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 21-year-old Jeffery Wayne Allen of Brownwood on warrants related to two counts no driver’s license, two counts of failure to maintain financial responsibility, and driving while under the influence minor.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34-year-old Joe Wayne Bastardo on a warrant related to failure to appear/tampering with a witness.  Bastardo was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $45,000 bond as of Wednesday morning.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 55-year-old Joe Glen Duncan of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/sexual assault of a child.  Duncan was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $25,000.

*Brownwood Police arrested 39-year-old Scott William Walker of San Antonio, Texas for possession of marijuana.
