Law enforcement arrests and reports released April 27, 2012.

Wednesday, April 25

*9:21am-Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report regarding missing livestock.  According to the report, the complainant stated that his Black Angus Bull has been missing since April 10th.

*2:04pm-A Brownwood police officer, while on duty at the Brownwood High School, was contacted by administration who advised a student had been found to be in possession of cigarettes.   An investigation determined that three juveniles had left the campus without authorization and one juvenile was in possession of tobacco and issued a citation for the offense.  All three juveniles received in- school suspension as school discipline.

*2:52pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 2400 block of Songbird Circle regarding theft.  According to the report, a resident at Songbird Lodge reported that $375 in cash was stolen from her at approximately 11:00am on April 13th.  Upon further investigation, a possible suspect was determined, the report states, and the case is pending further investigation.

*3:51pm-Brownwood Police responded to the 2000 block of Slaydenregarding found drug related property.  According to the report, the manager of the apartment complex advised that while cleaning out an apartment that a tenant had abandoned, she and her staff found a clear glass pipe with burn marks.  The pipe was seized and placed into the evidence room at Brownwood Police Department.

*7:48pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 900 block of N. Fisk regarding an assault on a public servant.  According to the report, an offense report was generated and the suspect is known.  Charges are expected to be filed in this case.  No details were available as of Friday.

*7:49pm-A Brownwood Police officer was on patrol in the area of Coggin Park, 2001 Austin Avenue, when the officer was flagged down and advised that a juvenile female was assaulted by another female.  According to the report, the suspect juvenile female was later located and admitted to assaulting the female at the park.  A warrant is being sought for Assault Causing Bodily Injury.

Thursday, April 26

*7:28am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to a convenience store in the 500 block of W. Commerce Street regarding a gas drive off.  According to the report, investigation determined that theft had not taken place. 

*8:30am-Brownwood Police were called to the Brownwood Middle School, 1600 Calvert Road, regarding a student who possibly had marijuana on the campus and requested police assistance.  According to the report,  a suspect was identified and a request of a motion to apprehend was obtained for the juvenile and he was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana in a Drug Free Zone.  Evidence seized at the scene was processed into evidence at the Brownwood Police Department. 

*9:25am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3400 block of Golding Road regarding terroristicthreat.  According to the report, the officer met withthe complainant and her son who stated that they were both scared of the subject due to past family violence.

*11:34am-A Brownwood police officer made a traffic stop in the 1300 block of 8thStreet due to an expired motor vehicle inspection sticker.  According to the report, the driver, 35-year-old Michael Kevin David, was found to be operating the vehicle with a suspended driver’s license and that he had previous convictions for the same offense.  David was arrested for Driving While License Invalid with previous convictions. 

*12:27pm-Brownwood Police were called to the Brownwood Middle School regarding disorderly conduct.  According to the report, the complainant wished for citations for Disorderly Conduct by Fighting to be issued to the two juveniles involved.

*1:37pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of 15th Street regarding a traffic hazard.  According to the report, the complainant stated that a riding lawn mower was in the middle of the roadway.    A tow truck was called and the lawnmower was taken into the custody of the wrecker service. 

*9:06pm-BrownwoodPolice responded to the 900 block of Austin Avenue regarding a motor vehicle accident.  According to the report, the 56-year-old female driver, was involved in a major vehicle accident where she had left the southbound lane of the roadway and traveled up onto the curb and into a vacant field.  The vehicle struck a pedestrian sign and continued colliding with two advertising billboards and then struck a utility pole.  The report states that the driver appeared to police to possibly be under the influence of either alcohol, narcotics or was possibly having a medical condition which contributed to the accident.  Brownwood firefighters removed the majority of the vehicles roof in order to extract the driver from the vehicle.  The female was then transported by Guardian EMS ambulance to Brownwood Regional Medical Center.   Consent was given to take a blood sample, which was placed in the Brownwood Police Department property room and the investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office took a report of theft.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her mother, who has recently passed away, loaned a riding lawn mower to a subject and that the subject refuses to return it stating that the deceased had given the mower to him prior to her passing.  The mower is valued at $900 and attempts to contact the subject have been unsuccessful, the report states.

Friday, April 27

*2:02am-BrownwoodPolice were called to a burglary in the 1500 block of Davis Lane.  According to the report, the complainant advised that her ex, who has a protective order against him, crawled through her living room window and into her apartment. The suspect, 24-year-old Daniel Antonio Gonzalez, was located and admitted to being outside of the apartment.  Gonzalez was arrested and charged with Burglary of a Habitation and Violation of a Protective Order.

*Early Police arrested 26-year-old Dorinda Dolores Soliz for Driving While License Expired.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
