Law enforcement arrests and reports released Thursday, April 26, 2012.

Saturday, April 21

*7:52pm-Brownwood Police received a report of theft $50-$500 from a complainant at the law enforcement center.

Monday, April 23

*4:30pm-Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding a report of fraud.

Wednesday, April 25

*10:40am-Brownwood Police met with a complainant regarding the burglary of a vehicle.

*12:12pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3500 block of Rhodes Road regarding harassment.  According to the report, the complainant advised that she had been physically assaulted by her daughter on April 23rd.  The suspect was not on scene for questioning and no injuries were observed on the complainant according to the report, which was written to document the incident.

*2:00pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 2200 block of Avenue E regarding a burglary.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her residence had been burglarized between April 24th and 25th.  No suspect information was available and no arrests were made at the time of the report.

*6:45pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the Oasis Club, in the 1000 block of W. Commerce, regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, there were three separate acts of vandalism, all believed to have the same suspect.  A suspect has been named and charges are being pursued, the report states.

*7:11pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 2400 block of Monticello regarding found property.  According to the report a bicycle was found, after it was found not to be reported as stolen, it was taken to the Brownwood Police property room for safe keeping.

*7:52pm-Brown County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in Brown County where a complainant stated that his door mat was set on fire.  According to the report, the man had been home watching television when he noticed that his front door mat was on fire.  He threw it off the wooden deck and used a garden hose to extinguish the fire, the report states.  A suspect has been named; however, no arrest has been made.

*8:35pm-A Brown County Sheriff’s Sergeant was on patrol and made a welfare check on a vehicle which was parked with its hood up.  According to the report, the driver of the vehicle, identified as Cody Shane Allred of Edna Hill, TX, stated that he was driving from Gustine to Early to visit a friend when he experienced car trouble.  When asked the name of the friend, Allred could only remember his first name and stated that he was coming to help him, the report states.  Allred was acting suspicious so he was asked if he had anything illegal in his pockets and to empty his pockets, which he did and in the process threw a pill bottle to the ground, the report states.    After investigation, the sergeant found the pill bottle to contain small baggies of methamphetamine and determined that Allred was actually traveling to Early to sell methamphetamines to occupants of a residence in Early, the report states.  Allred admitted to having snorted a long line of methamphetamine around 10:00am that day, the report states.  A search of the vehicle found a glass smoking pipe with residue on it, according to the report.  Allred was arrested and charged with Manufacture Delivery of a Controlled Substance Penalty Grade 1 Less than 1 gram in a Drug Free Zone (due to the arrest being within 1000 ft. of the Blanket High School Stadium) and Tampering with Evidence.

*8:40pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2400 block of Elizabeth Drive regarding the violation of a protective order.  According to the report, the complainant’s ex-husband showed up to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room while she was there.

*9:08pm-Brownwood Police responded to an accident in the parking lot of the Food Plaza located at 2800 US Hwy 377S.  According to the report, the driver, 43-year-old Mary Dansby Kathryn Carlisle was found to be intoxicated and/or under the influence of drugs and was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated 3rd.  Dansby submitted to a blood specimen for evidence and was taken to the Brown County Jail.

*Bangs Police arrested Alexis Brooke Yazell Deleon of Early for Driving While Intoxicated.

All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
