Law enforcement arrests and reports released Friday, April 24, 2015.
Thursday, April 23
*2:11 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3400 block of US Hwy 377 South regarding the theft of gasoline. Approximately $10 in gas was stolen from the business.
*3:23 PM – Brownwood Police received a report from Child Protective Services of an alleged sexual assault.
*6:26 PM- Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of Austin Avenue regarding information that three male juveniles were partaking in illegal narcotics/drug activity at Coggin Park. According to the report, when an officer located the juveniles, one of them decided to flee from the officers investigating the report. The juvenile subject was quickly detained and taken into custody by other officers who were in the area, the report states.
*9:49 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2000 block of US Hwy 377 South regarding terroristic threat. According to the report, a male subject had threatened to shoot another male at the business and then had left the scene.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the burglary of a habitation on County Road 309. According to the report, the burglary had occurred between 7:45 PM on Wednesday, April 22 and 5:45 PM on Thursday, April 24th. Three saddles, a television, and DVD player were taken from the home, the report states. A possible suspect was named, according to law enforcement.*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy conducted a traffic stop which led to the arrest of the driver, identified as 32-year-old Billy Clyde Moore of Brownwood and passenger 31-year-old Larry Scott Dudley of Clyde for unlawful manufacture or delivery with intent to deliver a simulated controlled substance, a State Jail felony, and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence, a third degree felony.
*Brownwood Police arrested 38-year-old Shawn Lee Brantley of Brownwood on warrants related to failure to appear/theft of property greater than $1500 less than $20,000 enhanced.
*Brownwood Police arrested 23-year-old Adrianne Jenkins for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and on a Dallas County warrant related to possession of a dangerous drug. Jenkins was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $6500 as of Friday morning.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Shawna Marie Waddell of Brownwood on a warrant related to manufacture delivery of a controlled substance not in a penalty group in a drug free zone.
Friday, April 24
*6:38 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3600 block of 2nd Street regarding a juvenile problem. According to the report, a juvenile was reported to have locked his mother out of their home and had pushed her in the chest. The juvenile was placed in custody and taken to the Juvenile Detention Center, the report states.
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 22-year-old Alexander Nawratil of Round Rock for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 400 grams.
*Brownwood Police arrested 40-year-old Lucy Ann Ogden of Brownwood on a warrant related to a surety withdrawal/possession of a controlled substance. Ogden was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond as of Friday morning.
