Monday, April 22
*6:35 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 3200 block of Milam Drive regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, a City of Brownwood Recreational employee advised that an unknown suspect(s) damaged a city vehicle over the weekend.
*2:52 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 300 block of Bluffview Drive regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the property manager wished to pursue criminal charges against the suspects regarding damage to a metal door, valued at $250.00. Officers issued a criminal trespass warning to a female suspect, the report states.
*3:45 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Calvert regarding a student acting suspicious, believed to be in possession of some type of drug. According to the report, an investigation determined that the student was in possession of marijuana. The student was charged with possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces in a drug free zone, taken into custody and transported to the Brownwood Police Department, processed and taken to the juvenile justice center.Tuesday, April 23
*4:25 AM – Brownwood Police responded to the Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room regarding disorderly conduct. According to the report, the responding officer observed two white males fighting in the ambulance bay as he arrived. The situation was resolved by separation, the report states.
*8:17 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of 4th Street regarding theft. According to the report, two window unit air conditioners, a washing machine and dryer were stolen from the complainant’s rental property. The stolen items were valued at approximately $350.00. According to police, the complainant wished to pursue criminal charges against the suspects.
*8:34 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of Calvert Road regarding an assault that occurred on the Brownwood Middle School campus. According to the report, the assault occurred and one juvenile charged with assault causes bodily injury and was taken into custody and transported to the police department, then transported to the juvenile detention center.
*11:17 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 600 block of Melwood regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, investigation determined that an offense of assault family violence – offensive touch had taken place. No arrest was made due to the suspect not being on scene at the time of the report.
*3:15 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding an assault. According to the report, the complainant reported that his mother’s boyfriend assaulted him. The complainant was transported to Brownwood Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries, the report states. The complainant wished to pursue criminal charges against the suspect according to police.
*5:23 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2800 block of Coventry Circle regarding theft. According to the report, items stolen included an iPod touch and a set of Apple headphones, valued at approximately $60.00.
*5:30 PM – Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a missing horse from a property on County Road 334. According to the report, the area had been searched and neighbors had been contacted about the missing horse; however the animal was unable to be located. The horse is valued at approximately $1200.00.
*6:50 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Magnolia regarding an aggravated assault with a weapon. There were no injuries and a suspect was named, the report states.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy responded to a domestic disturbance at a residence on County Road 382. According to the report, the female half of the disturbance, identified as 22-year-old Erica Marie Holmes, allegedly threw a knife at the male while he was holding their infant child. Holmes admitted to throwing the knife however stated that she had thrown it at the floor, the report states. Holmes was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon family violence and abandon endanger child according to the report.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on County Road 347 regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated that an air compressor had been stolen from outside his residence. The complainant believed that a former roommate may have taken the compressor, the report states.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a stolen 4-wheeler from a ranch on County Road 231.
*According to Brown County Sheriff’s reports, a counterfeit $100 bill was discovered in the daily deposit of the Brown County Inmate Fund account. The counterfeit bill was discovered by a teller at the TexasBank motor bank and is being retained as per banking procedure, the report states.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36-year-old Shawn Lee Brantley on warrants related to motion to revoke/criminal mischief, motion to revoke/theft (Erath County), and theft by check (Comanche County).
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 40-year-old James Butler of Corsicana for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*21-year-old Davey Lee Cox of Early turned himself in on a warrant related to possession use inhale/ingest volatile chemical.
*Brownwood Police arrested 31-year-old Heather Gale Dominguez on a total of 8 warrants related to expired registration, two for no driver’s license, two for failure to maintain financial responsibility, ran stop sign, and two for theft by check.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Toni Renea Horry of Bangs on a warrant related to motion to revoke related to possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*Brownwood Police arrested 29-year-old Larry Darnell Johnson on warrants related to terroristic threat, criminal mischief and a parole violation.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Justin Thomas Moore on a warrant for motion to revoke related to driving while intoxicated 1st.
*Early Police arrested 36-year-old Gilbert Trevino on a warrant related to purchase/furnish alcohol to a minor.
