Tuesday, April 21
*3:31 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy responded to an incident of animal cruelty. According to the report, the complainant stated that 9 of his Boer goats had been shot and killed since April 19th. A possible suspect had been named, the report states.
Wednesday, April 22
*12:21 PM – Brownwood Police received a report of the theft of a cell phone in the 100 block of Market Place Blvd.
*12:36 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1100 block of Vincent Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle and the theft of a bicycle. No suspect information was available, the report states.
*10:26 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of 8th Street regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, a male subject had assaulted a female and then fled from the residence.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a domestic disturbance at a property on N. Hwy 279. After further investigation, 49-year-old Gary Dwon Brown of Brownwood was placed under arrest for interference with emergency request for assistance.*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Anthony Daryl Beasley on a report for failure to appear/assault family violence. Beasley was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $22,500 as of Thursday morning.
*Brownwood Police arrested 55-year-old Esteban Frias-Munoz of Brownwood on a warrant related to driving while intoxicated.
*20-year-old Christian Xavier Garcia of Brownwood was arrested on a surety withdrawal related to manufacture delivery of a controlled substance not in penalty group in a drug free zone. Garcia was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bond as of Thursday morning.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Cory Chase McCorkle of Brownwood for evading arrest/detention and criminal trespass and on an active warrant for criminal trespass. McCorkle was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $6,500 bond as of Thursday morning.
*Brownwood Police arrested 55-year-old Ennis Mae Williams of Brownwood on a warrant related to manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 3/4 less than 28 grams. Williams was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $5000 bond as of Thursday morning.
