Law enforcement arrests and reports released Friday, April 22, 2016
Thursday, April 21
*11:47 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the complainant stated that he has had numerous problems with his neighbors, and that he has seen them on his properties and wanted to file trespass warnings on all 3 of them for his properties.
*12:01 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Main Street, the parole office, regarding a wanted person. According to the report, 25-year-old Samantha Stevens of Brownwood was arrested for a blue warrant. A consent search was performed on the vehicle and syringes with a liquid believed to possible methamphetamine were discovered, the officer reported. Additional possession charges could be pending, according to the report.
*3:55 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was advised by dispatch to contact a worker for the Texas Department of State Health Services in reference to a possible rabies exposure. According to the report, after contact with the worker, the deputy was directed to a male subject with 2 dogs, which had killed a rabid skunk. The male subject was served with the proper quarantine paperwork, the report states.*7:33 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was assisting another deputy on a traffic stop when he detected nervous behavior from the front passenger and requested consent to search his person. According to the report, the front passenger consented and the deputy located about 1.7 grams of methamphetamine without packaging on his person. The passenger, identified as 31-year-old Robert Salinas Diaz of Brownwood, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 1 gram less than 4 grams. The driver, identified as 29-year-old Stephanie Ann Flores of Brownwood, was also arrested for outstanding arrest warrants related to no driver’s license and failure to appear/no driver’s license.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 17-year old Sheyleigh Brooke Bell of Brownwood on warrants related to surety withdrawals for theft of property and criminal trespass.
*Brownwood Police arrested 35-year-old Cheyne Brady Fox of Rising Star on warrants related to running a red light – violate promise to appear and failure to maintain financial responsibility.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Ike Caleb Moseley of Brownwood for evading arrest or detention and on warrants related to motion to revoke/possession of a controlled substance in a drug free zone and motion to adjudicate/delivery of a controlled substance. Moseley was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bond as of Friday morning.

*5:00 AM – A Brownwood Police officer observed a vehicle speeding, 45 miles per hour in a 30 mph zone, in the 1900 block of Southside Drive. According to the report, a traffic stop was made which resulted in the arrest of the driver, identified as 23-year-old Pedro Torres of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated.
