Monday, April 14
*9:25 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of Main Street regarding harassment by phone. According to the report, the complainant has received approximately 15 calls where a male subject simply states, “Sorry wrong number,” and hangs up. She has called the number back and only gets a message that states the number is not a working number, the report states. The complainant stated that she is worried that the male is watching her home, as the calls come when her husband is not at home, according to the report. The subject has not been identified at this time, the report states.
*Brownwood Police received a report of a stolen wallet. According to the report, the wallet, which contained a debit card, social security card and $20 cash, was stolen while the complainant was at Wal-Mart sometime between 10:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. this date. The complainant reported that three attempts to use the debit card had failed for failure to provide the correct pin number, the report states. A log of times and locations of the attempted access to the account were documented.
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a property on County Road 228 regarding theft.
Friday, April 18
*4:51 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1400 block of Austin Avenue regarding theft. According to the report, an employee of the store was in the process of confronting a suspect in the store who was believed to have shoplifted when officers arrived. An investigation found that the theft did occur. The suspect was identified and documentation of the incident was made.*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Kimberly Jacobo of Hobbs, New Mexico for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and tamper/fabricate physical evidence.
*Brownwood Police arrested 29-year-old Jamie Santana Martinez of Brownwood for theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 39-year-old James Floyd McCullough of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated.
*Brownwood Police arrested 31-year-old Stephen Michael Temple of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated.
Saturday, April 19
* 8:00 AM – Early Police Officer Michelle Sheedy arrested 44-year-old Donnie Walters of Brownwood after he was stopped for reckless driving. Officer Sheedy received the call of a reckless driver in the 200 block of Early Blvd. Walters appeared very nervous and showed signs of drug use, and he failed a field sobriety test and was taken into custody for DWI, according to the report. Upon making the arrest, Officer Sheedy located 4.5 grams of methamphetamine in the vehicle and a loaded syringe. Walters was transported to BRMC emergency room for a blood test and then transported to the Brown County jail where he was charged with DWI and possession of controlled substance penalty group 4 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams. Walters was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of bonds totaling $26,500 as of Monday morning.
*9:44 AM – Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy Shade Tidwell was dispatched to Gordon Road regarding the burglary of a building. According to the report, the victims advised the residence had been broken into, along with the storage building in the backyard, within the last two weeks. The total value of stolen items is estimated at $10,000 and no suspect information was available, the report states.
*11:14 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1900 block of Durham Avenue regarding criminal mischief involving a broken window on a vehicle.
*3:40 PM –Early Police Officer Michelle Sheedy stopped 52-year-old Jay Parker Doelling of Zephyr for speeding (76 mph in a 45 mph zone) in the 700 block of Gorman Drive. According to Early Police Chief David Mercer, while interviewing Doelling, Officer Sheedy noticed he had slurred speech and was unstable on his feet and subsequent standard field sobriety test were conducted, Mercer said. Doelling was placed under arrest for suspicion of DWI under the influence of prescription medication. Doelling was transported to the Brownwood Regional emergency room where a blood sample was taken. He was then transported to the Brown County Jail where he was charged with Felony DWI with 2 previous convictions of DWI. Doelling was held on $15,000 as of Monday morning.
*5:29 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the area of Booker and Adams Street regarding possible drug activity in the area. An investigation led to the arrest of 31-year-old Isaac Eli Alvarez for possession of a controlled substance and on a warrant related to theft of services under $20.
*8:49 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of Bluffview Drive regarding a child being assaulted by an unknown male subject. An incident of possible aggravated assault with a deadly weapon is pending further investigation.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of theft at a property on County Road 136.
Sunday, April 20
*9:01 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2500 block of Songbird Circle regarding an assault which had just occurred. According to the report, a resident had been “extremely aggressive” and assaulted a staff member. This call led to the arrest of 59-year-old Kenneth Wayne Boyd of Early for the offense of assault causes bodily injury.
*6:00 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of Avenue I regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, a tire on the complainant’s vehicle had been cut with a knife or other sharp object.
Monday, April 21
*3:00 AM – Early Police Officer Stephanie Brown made a traffic stop in the 900 block of Early Blvd. which led to the arrest of 3 females, 22-year-old Shelbee Aldape , 21-year-old Alyx Aldape and 21-year-old Tiana Dominguez female, all from Amarillo, Texas. According to Early Police Chief David Mercer, all three occupants of the vehicle were smoking marijuana at the time of the stop. Drug paraphernalia and marijuana were found in the vehicle. All 3 suspects were booked into the Brown County jail for possession of marijuana class B misdemeanor.
