Law enforcement arrests and reports released Thursday, April 21, 2016
Wednesday, April 20
*8:45 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Terrace Drive regarding theft of property equal or greater than $100 less than $750.
*8:14 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 300 block of N. Main Street due to the driver disregarding a stop sign at Romines and Belle Plain. According to the report, this stop led to the arrest of the driver, identified as 56-year-old Kyle Wilson Brown of Brownwood, for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*10:40 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1300 block of 13th Street regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, the subjects were located in the alleyway. A female, identified as 34-year-old Tina Franqui of Brownwood was found to be intoxicated and involved in a verbal domestic with a male relative, according to the report. Franqui was unable to stay at her residence due to the possibility of her endangering her children in this intoxicated state, the officer reported. Numerous opportunities were given for Franqui to go stay with a relative but she refused and was subsequently placed under arrest for public intoxication, the report states.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of theft in May, Texas. According to the report, a complainant stated that a known female had stolen a dog from him earlier that day.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34-year-old Ysidra Andrea Salazar of Brownwood on warrants related to open container/passenger and violate promise to appear.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 49-year-old Bobby Joe Terrell of Brownwood on a warrant related to delivery/offer delivery of a dangerous drug.
Thursday, April 21
*2:20 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 1900 block of Southside Drive. According to the report, this stop led to the arrest of 23-year-old Jacob Winston Womack of Brownwood for possession of marijuana.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Dedra Crider of Brownwood on a warrant related to abandon endanger child imminent danger of bodily injury. Crider was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bond as of Thursday morning.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 20-year-old Amber Garrett of Fort Worth on a warrant related to failure to appear/theft of property enhanced greater than $50 less than $500.
*47-year-old Bland Hester of Brownwood was arrested on a warrant related to burglary of a habitation with intent to commit assault. Hester was involved in an assault early Saturday morning which resulted in his being shot multiple times with a .22 revolver and hospitalized for treatment of his injuries. Hester was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bond as of Thursday morning.
*Brownwood Police arrested 36-year-old Rafael Renteria, Jr. of Brownwood on a parole warrant.
