Thursday, April 16

*10:18 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Willis Street regarding theft.

Friday, April 17

*8:45 AM – Brownwood Police received a report of identity theft.

*10:15 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 200 block of E. Commerce Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, the complainant’s cell phone was stolen from her vehicle while it was parked in the 200 block of E. Commerce.

*11:52 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy responded to the report of harassment at a residence on Shannon Drive.  According to the report, a neighbor was verbally harassing the complainant.  A criminal trespass warning was issued to the neighbor, the report states.

*1:49 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 800 block of Booker Street regarding an agency assistance call with the Brown County Adult Probation Department at a north Brownwood residence.  According to the report, during the search, a quantity of suspected narcotics was located inside of the residence.  At the conclusion of the investigation, 51-year-old Johnny Lino Garcia of Brownwood was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

*3:07 PM – Brownwood Police were called to a residence on Dartmore Street to assist the Brown County Adult Probation Department with a probation search.  According to law enforcement, during the search, a quantity of a suspected controlled substance was located inside the residence.  Both residents disavowed any knowledge of the substance, the report states.   At the conclusion of the investigation, 34-year-old Michale Hisdoro Ramon of Brownwood and 23-year-old Cory Evan Lyon of Rising Star were arrested, each charged with possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2-A equal or less than 2 ounces.

*3:38 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Bluffview regarding stalking.  According to the report, the complainant advised that an unknown person had been sending text messages to her father and to her which indicated she was being watched.  The complainant was concerned for her safety and an investigation is ongoing, the report states.

*9:37 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy responded to the Sportsman Center on Belle Plain regarding found drugs.  According to the report, a clerk at the business stated that around 9:00 p.m., after having served a rush of people, he walked around the counter and saw a cellophane bag on the ground containing what appeared to be marijuana.

*10:01 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 1000 block of Avenue I regarding criminal mischief.  According to the report, two of the complainant’s vehicles along with his work vehicle were keyed sometime during the night.

*11:29 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1100 block of Vine Street regarding the theft of a bicycle.

*Early police arrested 48-year-old Joaquin Pesina III of Brownwood regarding violate promise to appear, failed to yield right of way, allow animals to run wild, and vaccination of dogs and cats requirement.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 41-year-old Stelly Ballow of Brownwood on a parole warrant.

*Brownwood Police arrested 28-year-old Lukas Scott Rootes of Brownwood on a warrant related to a parole violation.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Cody Robert Thompson of Brownwood on three warrants.

*15-year-old Antonio Vega of Elgin was booked into the Brown County Jail Friday for aggravated robbery.  Vega, one of three suspects, will stand trial as an adult for the aggravated robbery of Big G’s Grocery in Early.  He is being held in lieu of $100,000 bond, according to Brown County Jail records.

*Brown County Sheriff’s office arrested 25-year-old Dominic Richard Williams of Brownwood for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

Saturday, April 18

*12:36 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2500 block of Belmeade Street regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, an investigation led to the arrest of 37-year-old Robert Dale Wilson of Brownwood for assault with injury family violence.

*2:51 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 600 block of 600 block of E. Depot regarding theft.

*4:05 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of N. Main Street regarding theft.  According to the report, theft related to a money scam.

*4:51 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the area of Melwood and Austin Avenue regarding a domestic disturbance.

*5:08 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of W. Commerce Street regarding the theft of a cell phone.

*9:35 PM – Brownwood Police responded to a report of the theft of a motor vehicle.  According to the report, the complainant stated that a relative had stolen her vehicle.

*9:53 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a residence on Avenue I regarding an alleged sexual assault.

*Brownwood Police arrested 18-year-old Gabriella Marivel Aguirre of Brownwood on warrants related to no seat belt and failure to maintain financial responsibility.

*Early Police arrested 24-year-old Zachary Lane Manning of Early on warrants related to two counts of driving while license invalid/suspended, violate promise to appear and speeding equal or greater than 10%.

*Brownwood Police arrested 23-year-old Kaleigh Ann Sessions of Midland on a McClennan County warrant related to aggravated robbery.

*Brownwood Police arrested 32-year-old Franklin Berton Tyler of Brownwood on a Harris County warrant related to nonpayment of Child Support.

Sunday, April 19

*2:13 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 200 block of Austin Avenue.  According to the report, during the stop, it was determined that the driver had been operating the vehicle while intoxicated.  56-year-old Jacqueline Anderson of Brownwood was arrested for driving while intoxicated.

*10:39 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy responded to a residence on Bailey regarding the report of the burglary of a habitation.  According to the report, someone had kicked in the door to an unoccupied mobile home and taken an air conditioner.

*1:37 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of W. Commerce Street regarding a hit and run accident.  According to the report, evidence at the scene led to the identification of a suspect and criminal charges are expected to be filed, the report states.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a damaged fence at the intersection of County Roads 173 and 178.  According to the report, an unknown suspect drove a vehicle through the complainant’s fencing causing approximately $800 in damage, the report states.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was on patrol in the Lake Brownwood dam area when he noticed a vehicle parked in between some storage units which had recently been burglarized.  According to the report, contact was made with two subjects who were inside one of the units, identified as 33-year-old Jonathon Paul Symes and 44-year-old Susan Dawson, both of Brownwood.  While investigating the suspicious activity, the deputy pat searched Symes, which located a glass pipe containing residue which tested positive for methamphetamine, a clear plastic baggy containing 1.3 grams of marijuana and rolling papers in Symes front left jacket pocket, the report states.  Symes was subsequently placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram, resisting arrest, search or transport, and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.  The storage unit was searched as well which located a small joint containing a usable amount of marijuana in an ash tray on a table, according to the report.  Dawson was placed under arrest at that time for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.  The suspects’ vehicle was also search; however, no contraband was found and the vehicle was towed, the report states.

Monday, April 20

*Early Police arrested 31-year-old Lorreta Junnel Little of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated and driving while license invalid with previous convictions without financial responsibility.
