Friday, April 15

*10:39 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy met with City of Blanket Secretary who reported that residents of a home were using the city’s sewage system without compensation or authorization.  A complaint received also stated there was trash being accumulated on the outside of the residence.

Monday, April 18

*7:19 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1600 block of 6th Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, a set of Titleist golf clubs were taken from the truck of the complainant’s vehicle.

*4:47 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Commerce regarding theft.  While the officer was en route, dispatch advised that the suspect had fled the business on foot, heading toward CVS on Commerce Street.  A female matching the suspect description was located and identified as 19-year-old Timetha Candy McBride of Vernal, Utah, who was arrested and charged with class B theft, the report states.

*7:04 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a residence on Stonebrook Court regarding debit/credit card abuse.  According to the report, the complainant stated that she had used her credit card at several gas stations in the Dallas/Fort Worth area recently but that although she is in possession of the card, other charges from a location she has not traveled to have been made on the card.

*9:50 PM – Brownwood Police observed a male subject operating a vehicle in the 3800 block of US Hwy 183 North, after information was obtained that he was the suspect in an assault that had just occurred.  The male, 25-year-old Billy Shy Drew of Early, was found to be intoxicated and was arrested for driving while intoxicated, the report states.

*Early Police arrested 52-year-old Gary Harlan of Fort Worth for public intoxication.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 41-year-old Jody Delon Nelson of Springtown, Texas on a warrant related to a surety withdrawal for possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

Tuesday, April 19

*Brownwood Police arrested 28-year-old Joshua Earl Caraway of Brownwood on Travis County warrants related to driving while intoxicated 3rd, Possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, failure to appear/driving while license invalid.

*Brownwood Police arrested 19-year-old Elijah Ray Jones of Brownwood on warrants related to two counts of no driver’s license, violate promise to appear, and theft.
