Law enforcement arrests and reports released Monday, April 18th
Monday, April 11
*2:11pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to 1500 Terrace regarding an assault. According to the report, a complainant stated she was assaulted by her ex-boyfriend while she was at Wal-Mart. She was uninjured; however, she did want to pursue criminal charges.
Friday, April 15
*10:48am-Brownwood Police officers and the Brown County Sheriff’s office were executing a search and arrest warrant in the 1400 block of Avenue B. According to the report, officers were approached aggressively by pit bulls in the yard of the residence and found it necessary to use their OC spray. The dogs then retreated. The warrant was successfully executed and 24-year-old Angelica Corrales was arrested for Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Grade 1, less than or equal to 1g; Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz; and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
*1:02pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to a vehicle crash. According to the report, the complainant stated that he had been forced off the road by a red 4-door Dodge Dakota and that the pick-up fled the scene of the crash. At the time of the report, the complainant did not wish to pursue charges.
*3:40pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of W. Commerce (Burkes Outlet) regarding theft. According to the report, the store’s loss prevention officer advised BPD officers that a female identified as 18-year-old Emma Felan Murillo attempted to steal four ladies shirts and one pair of ladies denim shorts from the store. Murillo was placed under arrest for Theft greater than $50 less than $500.
*4:45pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3500 block of Rhodes Road regarding an unwanted person. This call led to the arrest of 34-year-old Jesse Joe Martinez for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Police reports indicate that when the call originated, dispatch advised officers that the complainant reported her brother, Martinez, was inside her home destroying the house.
*10:23pm-Brownwood Police were called to the intersection of Avenue K and Durham Avenue regarding two found bicycles. The bicycles were placed into the BPD impound until their owners can properly identify them.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 29-year-old Tiffany Dawn Riggleman for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Grade 1 less than 1g in a Drug Free Zone; Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz; and an outstanding warrant.
Saturday, April 16
*4:09pm-Brownwood Police responded to the 600 block of Oak Street regarding a burglary of a vehicle. A complainant advised that an unknown person had stolen several hand tools from the trunk of his vehicle sometime between the hours of 5:00pm on 4/15 and 11:00am on 4/16 according to police reports.
*Bangs Police arrested 17-year-old Seth Travis Brim for Criminal Mischief.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 35-year-old Melissa Marie Edwards Porter of Bangs for Assault Family Violence with Injury.
Sunday, April 17
*1:03am-Brownwood Police were called to the area of Sycamore and Main Blvd. regarding a suspicious male in the area. According to the report, officers made contact with the complainant who stated he observed a male subject inside his vehicle and that several items were now missing. A male identified as 30-year-old Cecil Clarence Kite, Jr. was located in a backyard of a residence in the 1800 block of Houston the report states. Kite was in possession of the stolen items according to the report and place under arrest for Burglary of a Vehicle.
*8:50am-Brown County Sheriff’s Deputies met with the superintendent of the Feather Bay Golf Course regarding damage to several golf carts. According to BCSO reports, the golf carts used for tours of the development were parked unsecured on the golf cart adjacent to Feather Bay Blvd. Suspects had driven the golf carts off of ledges on the tee boxes and into rocks and other golf carts causing damage to four golf carts the report states. Some evidence left at the scene included footprints and two beer cans left in the drink holder of the golf carts according to BCSO. Damage is estimated to be $6000. No arrests had been made at the time of the report.
*4:08pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the BRMC emergency room regarding an assault. A female victim advised she had been assaulted by a relative according to the report. The suspect was named; however, no arrest had been made at the time of the report.
*10:56pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 200 block of Bluffview regarding a large fight in progress. During an investigation, 24-year-old Tiffany Nicole Daniel was arrested for Disorderly Conduct-Loud and Profane Language. Charges are pending for the assault.
*11:01pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3800 block of 2nd Street regarding an assault. The reporting party, also the house manager for MHMR, stated that one of the clients had assaulted a staff member. A caseworker arrived on scene and a male was transported to the hospital with an emergency detention being ordered.
*9:24pm-Brownwood Police responded to the 4300 block of Fairway Drive regarding the report of a missing person. According to the report, the complainant stated that his daughter had been missing since mid-afternoon and he was concerned about her welfare and that she might be in danger of harm from herself or others. The complainant wanted to file a missing person report. His daughter, identified as Emma Murillo, was located at the Brown County Jail where she had been arrested by another officer earlier in the day.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 19-year-old Franchesca Vianie Borrego for Assault Family Violence with Injury.
Monday, April 18
*2:51am-Brownwood Police were called to the 1300 block of Avenue H regarding identification theft. The complainant stated that she received two notifications from her bank regarding two ATM withdrawals that she did not make or authorize the report states.
All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
