Monday, April 15
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched regarding a report of animal cruelty on County Road 237. According to the report, the complainant stated that there were several cattle on the property that were starved. Upon arrival, the deputy did observe several cows, calves and one bull on the property. The cows and bull appeared thin; however the calves looked healthy according to the report. The cattle had access to a tank with water and there was sparse forage available, the deputy reported. The owner was contacted and stated that he fed the cattle hay and cake approximately once a week, according to the report.
Tuesday, April 16
*3:34 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2800 block of Southside Drive regarding disorderly conduct. According to the report, the complainant stated that a “friend” damaged her car as she was leaving her apartment. The complainant wished a trespass warning be issued to the “friend,” the report states.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 24-year-old Travis Butcher on warrants including Brown County warrants for speeding, expired driver’s license and violate promise to appear, along with Dallas County warrants for driving while under the influence and driving while intoxicated.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Cassidy Cruz of Converse, Texas on a warrant for motion to adjudicate/indictment/aggravated assault.
*Early Police arrested 49-year-old Johnny Lino Garcio for driving while license invalid and failure to maintain financial responsibility.*A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy made a traffic stop for expired registration in the area of Hwy 279 and County Road 601. According to the report, the driver, identified as 62-year-old William Bing Wallace, was found to have a suspended license and no proof of insurance, for which he was arrested. During a consensual vehicle search, two firearms were located along with marijuana found in the driver’s side door pocket and on Wallace’s person, the report states. Wallace was charged with prohibited weapon, unlawful carrying weapon, possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces, and driving while license invalid/no insurance.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Victoria Kathryn Holloway for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone.
* Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Colby Pool of Odessa, Texas for bail jumping and failure to appear.
* Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old Steven Haro Rodriguez of Odessa on a warrant from the 364th District Court for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 with intent to distribute 4-200 grams in a drug free zone.
Wednesday, April 17
*5:48 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of 1st Street regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, an argument between a mother and her child took place and resulted in pushing and slapping by both parties. A mental health issue arose during the investigation and MHMR was contacted, the report states. No arrests were made at the time of the report.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 39-year-old Kimberly Boland on a Brown County warrant for failure to appear along with Taylor County warrants for motion to revoke related to assault of a peace officer and motion to revoke related to aggravated assault.
*Brownwood Police arrested 58-year-old Victor V. Gonzales for public intoxication.
