Tuesday, April 14
*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to Gobbler Lane where two llamas were on the complainant’s property. According to the report, after an extensive search, no possible owners could be located. The llamas were strayed and transported to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office and a report was made.
Wednesday, April 15
*8:57 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop at Carnegie and Fisk Streets. According to the report, when the officer informed the driver, identified as 20-year-old Coleton Hunter Tidwell of Brownwood, that he noticed a smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle, Tidwell voluntarily informed the officer where he could find gram of marijuana in the vehicle’s front passenger door. No other narcotics were located in the vehicle, the report states. The officer arrested Tidwell for the offense and placed him in the patrol car, the report states. The vehicle was going to be towed due to the arrest and needed to be inventoried. When the officer asked Tidwell how he could access the truck to complete an inventory of the vehicle prior to towing, he was informed that there was more marijuana inside, according to the report. A search was completed which located a duffle bag containing a glass container filled with plastic bags of marijuana, a Ziploc bag of marijuana, a gold colored marijuana grinder, an easy splitter cutter, $440 in cash and a scale with marijuana residue on it, the report states. Tidwell admitted this was his second run to Houston to purchase marijuana which he sold to locals, the report states. Tidwell was charged with possession of marijuana greater than 4 ounces less than or equal to 5 pounds in a drug free zone (due to the stop being within 1000 feet of the Brownwood Intermediate School).*9:30 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy responded to the Bluebonnet Trailer Park regarding a verbal domestic dispute. One of the subjects involved admitted to slapping the other subject, according to the report. No arrests were made; however, the two were separated for the remainder of the day to prevent any further acts of violence, the report states.
*6:52 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1800 block of Avenue K regarding a subject talking inappropriately to an 11-year-old female.
*9:16 PM – Brownwood Police made a pedestrian stop in the 500 block of W. Baker Street regarding walking on the wrong side of the roadway. According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 29-year-old Crystal Rachelle Galloway of Brownwood for failure to identify-fugitive intentionally gives false information, possession of a controlled substance penalty group 3 less than 28 grams, possession of a dangerous drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, and a warrant from Pardons and Parole.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Nicholas Joe Castenada of Brownwood on warrants related to motion to revoke delivery of a controlled substance in a drug free zone and motion to revoke delivery of marijuana in a drug free zone.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 68-year-old Robert Paul Denton of Brownwood on a warrant related to expired registration.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Ashley Nicole Fulcher of Brownwood for manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 49-year-old Robert Edward Gabhart for tamper/fabricate physical evidence and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.
*Brownwood Police arrested 30-year-old Donald Gene Gilbert on a warrant related to a parole violation.
*26-year-old Tiffani Brooke Heath of Goldthwaite turned herself in on a Mills County warrant related to failure to identify.
*Brownwood Police arrested 28-year-old Wesley Clay Lanham III of Brownwood on a warrant related to a parole violation.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Rosa Maria Lopez on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*Bangs Police arrested 38-year-old Larale Graham McNew of Brownwood on warrants related to speeding and violate promise to appear.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Stephanie Renne Stevens of Brownwood on two counts of manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams and tamper/fabricate physical evidence.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 32-year-old Jason Kyle Watkins of Brownwood for manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 4 grams less than 200 grams.
Thursday, April 16
*2:11 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 4400 block of US Hwy 377 South regarding a domestic disturbance. The complainant stated that her estranged husband kicked in the door to her room and damaged her vehicle, according to the report.
