Friday, April 11
*Deputy Shade Tidwell was dispatched to County Road 604 regarding a dog bite. According to the report, the victim had an injury to his hand which did not need medical treatment. The owner of the dog was identified and issued a citation for unvaccinated animal and the dog was put into quarantine for 14 days.
Monday, April 14
*4:25 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2400 block of Austin Avenue regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, it was learned that a 14-year-old male had assaulted two adults and fled the scene prior to the officer’s arrival.
Tuesday, April 15
*9:39 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Main Street regarding an intoxicated subject. According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 55-year-old Roger Dale Ruple of Brownwood for public intoxication.
*7:05 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of E. Commerce Street regarding an assault at the Silver Fox Lounge. An investigation is ongoing, the report states.*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was called to a property on County Road 152 to investigation animal cruelty. According to the report, the investigation is continuing and a follow up visit will be required to determine if the offense is being committed.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 49-year-old Vincent Earl Griffin of Early on a warrant related to assault family violence.
* Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 39-year-old David Amvel Guthrie of Brownwood on a warrant related to failure to maintain financial records.
*32-year-old Desiree Michelle Henson of Brownwood turned herself in on a warrant related to motion to revoke/theft of property equal or greater than $50 less than $500.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 45-year-old Tommy Wayne Lindley of Brownwood for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34-year-old Rafael Renteria, Jr. on a warrant related to a parole violation.
*Brownwood Police arrested 22-year-old Jonathan Kyle Rice of Zephyr on warrants related to no driver’s license, expired motor vehicle inspection and no driver’s license.
