Law enforcement arrests and reports released Friday, April 15, 2016
Wednesday, April 13
*12:54 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to a business in the 400 block of N. Fisk Avenue regarding harassment. According to the report, the complainant stated she was receiving harassing phone calls from an unknown subject.
*5:00 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of Clark Street regarding a hit and run. According to the report, the complainant’s vehicle was struck while parked at a local business and the suspect vehicle fled the scene.
Thursday, April 14
*8:01 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2900 block of N. US Highway 183 regarding a hit and run.
*10:02 AM – Brownwood Police received a report of invasive visual recording. According to the report, the female complainant stated that the suspect, her ex-boyfriend, had taken an inappropriate picture of her and placed it on the Internet without her consent. An investigation is ongoing, the report states.
*2:09 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1700 block of Avenue K regarding drugs/narcotics. According to the report, the investigation led to 21-year-old Jacob Munoz of Brownwood being arrested for possession of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver in a drug free zone. The investigation surrounding the incident is ongoing, according to police and more arrests are anticipated.*3:00 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Davis Lane regarding a possibly intoxicated male. According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 35-year-old Jason Covington of Brownwood for public intoxication.
*4:07 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 4200 block of South US Highway 377 regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, four vehicles at the location had damaged windows from what appeared to have been caused by a pellet gun.
*8:27 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy received a report of a stolen dog. According to the report, the complainant’s dog went missing from his yard earlier in the afternoon. The complainant did not initially identify any suspects; however, a neighbor described a female who he had seen at the residence that the complainant believed could have been an ex-roommate.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 55-year-old Cynthia Lorene Flanagan on warrants related to unrestrained animal, too many animals and driving while license invalid.
*29-year-old Crishauna Nicole Hardman of Brownwood turned herself in on a warrant.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 64-year-old Ryan Weathermon Referda of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram, tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair and on warrants related to driving while license invalid and failure to appear.
Friday, April 15
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43-year-old Jennifer Michelle Valencia of Goldthwaite for driving while intoxicated.
