Law enforcement arrests and reports released Tuesday and Wednesday, April 12 & 13, 2016
Monday, April 11
*12:35 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the intersection of Highway 67 W and FM 1849 in reference to drugs/narcotics. According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 24-year-old Timothy Scott Barrow of Bangs for Public Intoxication.
*11:31 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of W. Commerce regarding forgery. According to the report, a fraudulent check for $1800 had been passed.
*4:29 PM – Brownwood Police responded to a hit and run in the 400 block of W. Commerce. According to the report, the incident occurred while the complainant’s vehicle was parked at the business.
*7:51 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1000 block of LaMonte regarding an animal bite. According to the report, the responding officer arrived and located a victim with an actively bleeding wound consistent with an animal bite. A citation was issued to the dog owner and the incident documented, the report states.
*7:58 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence just outside of the Brownwood city limits regarding a stolen bicycle. According to the report, the bicycle was valued at $129.00 and a possible suspect was named.*9:50 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of 7th Street regarding terroristic threat. According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 31-year-old Crystal Bates for public intoxication.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 27-year-old Michael Wayne Hayes of Blanket, Texas on a warrant related to indecency with a child sexual contact. Hayes was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bond as of Wednesday morning.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 44-year-old Edy Lopez-Palacios of Laredo, Texas on a warrant related to failure to appear/possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 28-year-old John Vidal Pesina of Brownwood on a warrant related to failure to appear/possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram. Pesina was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $15,000 bond as of Wednesday morning.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 17-year-old Mason Joseph Prosise on a warrant related to possession of drug paraphernalia.
Tuesday, April 12
*9:10 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Main Blvd. regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant stated his fishing pole was stolen from his front yard. An investigation is ongoing the report states.
*10:58 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was conducting community patrolling when he observed a large amount of household trash, which has been piled up and has been scattered throughout the yard of a residence. An investigation was completed and a suspect was contacted.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 23-year-old Neil Ray Bingham of Early on a warrant related to public intoxication.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 20-year-old Joshua Prosise of Brownwood on a warrant related to possession of drug paraphernalia.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Jeffery Whitehead of Early on warrants related to evading arrest/detention with vehicle and on two surety withdrawals related to evading arrest and unauthorized use of motor vehicle.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 38-year-old Shane Ross Wood of Brownwood for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram.
Wednesday, April 13
*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 28-year-old Roy Brent Angermiller of San Antonio, Texas for driving while intoxicated and failure to identify/giving false/fictitious information.
*Brownwood Police arrested 38-year-old Shanda Lean Foster of Brownwood on a parole warrant.
*Early Police arrested 40-year-old Jerry Allen Hodge of Blanket for assault family/house member impeded breath/circulation.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 54-year-old Michael Henry Moore of Coleman for manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and possession of a controlled substance penalty group 2 less than 1 gram.
