Law enforcement arrests and reports released Thursday, April 12, 2012.
Wednesday, April 11
*6:36am-Brownwood Police were called to the 1200 block of Duke Street regarding theft. According to the report, someone had taken down and stolen a large portion of a metal frame to a shop that the complainant had on his property. A possible suspect was named; however at the time of the report, no arrests had been made.
*7:12am-Brownwood Police were called to the Duke Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle. The complainant stated that sometime during the night, someone broke the front passenger window and stole the complainant’s purse, according to the report.
*12:40pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 2900 block of Avenue D regarding a runaway juvenile. According to the report, the complainant stated that her grandson left her residence without permission. The officer later received a report of another juvenile who had runaway with the complainant’s grandson.*12:52pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Baker Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, three vehicles had been broken into and items stolen. No suspects could be determined at the time of the report.
*2:47pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 400 block of Mulberry, MHMR, regarding a male patient. According to the report, 23-year-old Vincente Narvarez, Jr. of Comanche was being unruly. The call led to the arrest of Narvarez for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon against a family member.
*4:30pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3500 block of Rhodes Road regarding an assault. According to the report, the complainant stated that she had been verbally and physically assaulted by the father of her baby, 31-year-old Tyrhonda Lynn Satberry. Satberry was involved in a vehicle accident in the 1700 block of Vine Street shortly after the assault and was arrested for assault causing injury.
*5:30pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 4000 block of 8th Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, the complainant stated that an unknown subject broke into his vehicle and stole some of his belongings. No suspect information could be determined at the time of the report.
*6:54pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 2100 block of 7th Street regarding found property. According to the report, a boys bicycle was found and the officer checked to see if it was stolen. The bicycle was taken to the Brownwood Police Department and logged as found property.
*7:56pm-Brownwood Police officer located three runaway juveniles in the 800 block of Neumann Street. According to the report, after attempting to make contact, the three juveniles ran into a pasture. After a search, the juveniles were located in an abandoned house and were arrested for evading arrest/detention after admitting they ran because they did not want to get caught, the report states. The parents of the runaways were notified that their children were found.
*8:56pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to Wal-Mart regarding theft. According to the report, the complainant made the report by phone that around 7:00pm this date, her purse was stolen from her basket while she was unloading groceries. No suspect information was available at the time of the report.
*10:00pm-Brownwood Police received a report from a complainant by telephone regarding unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. According to the report, the complainant stated that while he was incarcerated, his 1985 Ford Mustang was stolen and the title was forged.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 20-year-old Tony Catarino Garcia, Jr. for Possession of Marijuana in a Drug Free Zone.
Thursday, April 12
*12:27am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Brady Avenue regarding an assault. According to the report, investigation determined that the complainant was assaulted by an acquaintance while at the Oasis bar, in the 1000 block of W. Commerce. The complainant was transported by Guardian EMS to Brownwood Regional Medical Center for treatment. A suspect was named but not located.
All arrestees are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
