Wednesday, April 9
*3:30 PM – Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the law enforcement center regarding fraud. According to the report, the complainant stated that she had lost her check book approximately one month ago and that checks have since been forged on the account. No suspect information was available at the time of the report.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office received a report of assault by threat. According to the report, a resident was left a threatening note by a meter reader who works for a utility company out of Houston. The complainant stated that the note was left after an argument between himself and the meter reader at a property located on Cherokee Drive in May. The complainant wished to pursue criminal charges and stated that he had had “issues” with the meter reader in the past.
Thursday, April 10
*12:05 AM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy responded to the report of an assault in the 3900 block of Hwy 279. The deputy made contact with the complainant/victim who stated that two males had assaulted him and then chased him in a car along the highway when he attempted to escape, the report states.*9:49 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 500 block of E. Commerce regarding a male subject who was intoxicated and refusing to pay for his stay at the Budget Inn. According to the report, officers arrived to find a male, identified as 56-year-old Danny Ray Lyons of Brownwood, attempting to leave the property. During the investigation, it was found that Lyons was intoxicated and he was placed under arrest for public intoxication.
*2:13 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 300 block of E. Commerce, Tractor Supply, regarding theft. According to the report, a suspect has been identified in the theft of property from the business.
*3:48 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to the Blanket School regarding the report of possible marijuana found in a student’s backpack. According to the report, a teacher advised he was contacted regarding a student identified as 17-year-old Jase Storey who had left his book bag in the teacher’s classroom. Wilson searched the bag and found what he believed to be marijuana and that Storey had told him it was marijuana. The substance was weighed and Storey was arrested for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces in a drug free zone.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Alfred Jorme Beeman of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/assault causes bodily injury family violence.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Walker Eddie Covey of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/theft.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Khayman Broadi Delarosa of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to revoke/driving while intoxicated.
*31-year-old Sharay Jequfest Holbert of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate/Forgery.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 20-year-old Kristopher Allan Roe on a warrant related to motion to revoke/injury to elderly.
*Brownwood Police arrested 33-year-old Michael Paul Sawyer of Early on a warrant related to a parole violation.
