Thursday, April 9

*9:56 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 4200 block of S. US Hwy 377 regarding theft.  According to police a report for hindering a secured creditor was filed.

*10:25 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of Waco Street to assist the City of Brownwood code enforcement division with the execution of a search warrant at a north Brownwood residence.  Law enforcement explained that the warrant was initiated due to a complainant from a neighbor regarding certain activity at the house and a bad smell that was coming from the house.  According to the report, the property owner answered the door, letting officers inside the home and then knocked on a bedroom door, calling out the name Sandra and telling the woman inside the room that police were inside and to get up.  Officers heard scuffling inside the room and believed the person inside the room was attempting to conceal items from police and they opened the door, the report states.  A woman inside the room, later identified as 45-year-old Sandra Dee Day, was observed holding what appeared to be a blue box in her hand and walked to the corner of the room and bent down next to a dresser, according to police.  After being told to stop what she was doing and to come to the officers, Day stood up and walked over to the officers with empty hands, the report states.  Officers asked where the blue box was and Day stated she did not have anything, according to the report.  The blue box was located in a corner that was cluttered with items on a pile of clothes and was found to have inside it multiple small plastic baggies commonly associated with methamphetamine, a lighter and a glass meth pipe with residue wrapped in paper, according to police.  Inside the baggies was also methamphetamine residue and one of the baggies contained a usable amount which was later found to weigh 0.11 grams, the report states.  A search by a BPD investigator also located a pill bottle with Day’s name on it, which contained two more small plastic baggies with meth residue, according to the report.  Day was subsequently arrested for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair.

*2:58 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on County Road 441 regarding a stolen mailbox.  According to the report, someone had stolen her mailbox and its stand.

*9:25 PM – An Early Police officer stopped a vehicle at CC Woodson and FM 2525 for a traffic violation.  According to the report, the driver provided inconsistent stories to the officer and was acting very nervous.  EPD’s K9 unit Jambo was requested to the scene and alerted to the vehicle, where approximately 28 ounces of marijuana was found inside, the report states.  The driver, identified as 27-year-old James Dasic Warlick of Goldthwaite, was placed under arrest, charged with possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy made a traffic stop on County Road 152 on a vehicle towing a trailer which did not have working lights.  According to the report, this stop led to the arrest of the driver, identified as 32-year-old James Hansford of Arlington, Texas, for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Desiree Michelle Henson of Brownwood on a surety withdrawal related to theft of property greater than $50 less than $500.  Henson was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bond as of Friday morning.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old Jessica McPherron of Brownwood on surety withdrawals related to tamper/fabricate physical evidence with intent to impair and manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone.  McPherron was being held in the Brown County Jail in lieu of $55,000 bond as of Friday morning.

*Brownwood Police arrested 50-year-old Augustine Mindieta of Brownwood on warrants related to accident involving damage to vehicle equal or less than $200 and on a parole violation.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 26-year-old Hannah Janea Poucher of Cisco for manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 in a drug free zone and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Sean Christopher Riffey of Breckenridge for manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 equal or greater than 1 gram less than 4 grams in a drug free zone and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces in a drug free zone.

*Early Police arrested 32-year-old Adrian Cole Terry of Hamilton for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 37-year-old Dusty Lee Wilson of Granbury on a warrant related to motion to adjudicate aggravated assault with deadly weapon.

Friday, April 10

*An Early Police officer made a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Early Blvd. The report states that the driver, identified as 46-year-old Jesse Ray Stewart, had a suspended drivers license but was also acting very nervous. According to the report, the officer located a small amount of marijuana in the floor of the vehicle and also learned Stewart had taken a baggie of marijuana and dumped it into a freshly bought cup of coffee. The marijuana was taken for evidence and Stewart was taken into custody for possession of marijuana-Class B misdemeanor, tampering with evidence-3rd degree felony and driving while license invalid.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 48-year-old Danny Ortiz Daniels of Dallas on a warrant related to failure to appear/forgery.  Daniels was being held in the Brown County Jail on $15,000 bond as of Friday morning.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 33-year-old Joey Rainbolt of Cleburne on a Hill County warrant related to injury of a child/elderly/disabled criminal negligence.
