Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Friday, April 1st.

*7:27am-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2100 block of Slayden regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the vehicle was keyed overnight and sustained multiple scratches on the hood and front fenders. No suspect information was available at this time.
*11:06am-Brownwood Police were called to the 1800 block of 12th Street regarding a burglary of a vehicle that had occurred.
*12:44pm-Brownwood Police were called to the 2800 block of Southside Drive regarding criminal mischief. According to the report, the complainant’s vehicle had two windows broken at an unknown time while it was parked overnight.
*3:45pm-A butterfly knife was found by a citizen in the playground area of Alcorn Park at noon. The knife was taken to BPD where it was placed into the evidence room as found property.
*4:42pm-Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Elizabeth regarding criminal mischief. The investigation is ongoing.
*7:01pm-Brownwood Police responded to the report of a hit and run in the 500 block of W. Commerce. According to the report, the complainant, identified as 21-year-old Lisa Ann Walls, stated that someone had struck her vehicle while she was shopping at the above address. After a short investigation, Walls was arrested and charged with Leaving the Scene of an Accident, False Report to a Police Officer, and Driving While License is Invalid with Previous Convictions the report states.
*Brownwood Police arrested 20-year-old Christopher Jacob Anderson for Possession of Marijuana, less than 2 oz.
* Brownwood Police arrested 38-year-old Bryan Thomas Calvert for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Grade 1, less than 1g.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Joe Campos for Possession of Marijuana, less than 2 oz.
*Early Police arrested 31-year-old Jose Castillo and 32-year-old Bernardo Menlendez-Calderon, both of Granbury, who are being held on a Border Patrol Detainer.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Tory Renea Horry of Bangs for Possession of Marijuana, less than 2 oz.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 25-year-old Jeremy Lee Ortega for Possession of Marijuana, less than 2 oz.
* Brownwood Police arrested 35-year-old Amanda Lynn Pyle Whorton for Possession of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Grade 1, less than 1g.
All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
