Monday, March 2

*2:20 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was contacted by a Brownwood Police officer regarding missing livestock.  According to the report, the complainant stated that approximately 22 baby and 8 Boer goats were missing from his property on W. Main Avenue.  A possible suspect was named; however, the fencing around the property was noted to be in very poor condition and neighbors stated that the goats escaped from the property on a regular basis, according to the report.

Thursday, March 5

*1:06 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2600 block of Crockett Drive, the Brownwood Regional Medical Center emergency room, regarding a female who was acting in a disorderly manner.  According to the report, officers were informed of an incident that could possibly be considered child neglect.  Information was gathered and the information was documented, the report states.

*8:04 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2200 block of Avenue B regarding theft.

Friday, March 6

*9:42 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1600 block of Calvert Drive regarding a possible runaway.  According to the report, the officer met with the foster parent and school staff.  It was later determined that the juvenile was released to a relative who had no legal rights to the child, the report states.  The juvenile’s actions of running away and the relative interfering with child custody were documented, according to the officer’s report.

*12:12 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1500 block of Austin Avenue regarding a hit and run.  According to the report, a maroon Suburban struck a white Toyota and the Toyota fled the scene.

*1:29 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 2500 block of Memorial Park Drive, the VA Clinic, regarding an assault.  According to the report, a male subject came to the clinic regarding pain and informed staff that he was in a fight with a relative the night before.  The officer spoke with both parties involved in the fight and the incident was documented, according to law enforcement.

*4:39 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on County Road 411 West regarding a burglary.  The complainants stated their property had been burglarized and a number of guns, bows and other items had been taken.

*6:22 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 500 block of Valley View Drive regarding theft.

*11:30 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the area of W. Chandler and Melwood Street regarding a defective break light on the vehicle’s passenger side.  According to the report, this stop led to the arrest of the driver, identified as 46-year-old Joey Wesley Egger of Brownwood, for driving while intoxicated 3rd or more.  Egger was later released on $10,000 bond.

*Brownwood Police arrested 38-year-old Jason Bell of Brady on a McCulloch County warrant related to duty striking unattended vehicle and a parole warrant.

*30-year-old Leann Michele Locke turned herself in on warrants related to violate promise to appear and expired driver’s license.

*22-year-old Cody Ray Stegall of Brownwood turned himself in on warrants related to speeding (47 in a 35 mph zone) in a school zone, and failure to appear.

Saturday, March 7

*2:00 AM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 2700 block of Southside Drive regarding speeding.  According to the report, a vehicle was observed traveling 37 mph in a 30 mph zone.  This stop led to the arrest of 33-year-old McAndrew Terrell Norman of Palmdale, California for driving while license invalid with previous convictions and failure to maintain financial responsibility.

*4:43 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2300 block of Dartmore Street regarding an assault.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 26-year-old Ashley Nicole Hubbard of Brownwood for assault causes bodily injury.

*1:42 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of 3rd Street regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, criminal mischief and assault threat or offensive touch was investigated.

*A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy made a traffic stop on a pickup at a parking lot at FM 3254 after he observed the vehicle traveling on County Road 180 without any tail lamps.  The driver of the pickup was identified as 25-year-old James Lee Kinsey of Bangs.  A Brownwood Police officer also at the stop detected an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle and Kinsey admitted having been smoking marijuana, but that he had thrown out the cigarette when he observed the patrol vehicle turning, the report states.  Kinsey was arrested on three warrants and a search of the pickup revealed a glass smoking pipe in the dash of the pickup as well as a small marijuana cigarette behind the center arm rest near a speaker box, according to the report.    Kinsey was arrested for possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces in a drug free zone and possession of drug paraphernalia.

*Brownwood Police arrested 28-year-old Dustin Ray Lawson of Brownwood on a warrant related to manufacture delivery of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram in a drug free zone.  Lawson was later released on $15,000 bond.

*Brownwood Police arrested 39-year-old Gidget Diane Stewart Lawson of Brownwood on a surety withdrawal related to theft of service (Taylor County).

*Texas Department of Public Safety arrested 21-year-old Ari Francisco Perez-Moya of Bangs for driving while intoxicated.

*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 56-year-old Aubrey Lynn Stout of Brownwood on two warrants related to assault causes bodily injury/family violence.

Sunday, March 8

*1:10 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the area of Calvert Road regarding a domestic disturbance involving an assault.

*1:17 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the report of a hit and run accident in the 1600 block of Main Street.  The accident occurred on the Truman Harlow overpass and the suspect vehicle fled the scene, the report states.

*3:17 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 1800 block of Avenue H regarding a domestic disturbance.  According to the report, the victim desired to press charges.

*12:17 PM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of Austin Avenue regarding criminal mischief and the burglary of a vehicle.  According to the report, a security light at the residence was damaged and items were taken from the vehicle during the burglary.

*9:24 PM – Brownwood Police made a traffic stop in the 2500 block of Elizabeth Drive regarding defective license plate lights.  According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 20-year-old Faith Nicole Griffith of Brownwood for possession of drug paraphernalia, no driver’s license and a Brownwood municipal warrant for failure to appear.

*Brownwood Police arrested 56-year-old Tony Randall Holmes of Brownwood for driving while intoxicated and on a Johnson County warrant related to theft equal or greater than $20 less than $500.

Monday, March 9

*Brownwood Police arrested 22-year-old Dakota Michael Cross of Blanket for driving while intoxicated 2nd.
