Law Enforcement arrests and reports released Tuesday, March 8th.
According to Brown County Sheriff’s Office, On March 5th BCSO received a report of a vehicle parked and abandoned along CR 192, just south of CR 153. According to the report, this vehicle was believed to have been stolen by fugitive Charles Henry Hull from a property on March 3. According to the report, the suspect had taken the Dodge pick-up truck along with a pair of shoes out of a travel trailer off of a property on N. Hwy 183. The suspect was reported by BCSO to have cut fences to travel cross country to a paved road to make his escape. A witness saw the truck park at the location and a white SUV, possibly a GMC Jimmy or a Chevy Blazer, pull up next to the truck and then leave sometime after 12:00pm on March 5th the report states. The truck was towed to BSCO’s where it was processed by BCSO investigators.

Sunday, March 6
*10:15am-Brown County Sheriff’s Office took a report from a complainant in reference to criminal mischief. According to the report, the complainant stated that the mailbox at his residence in Zephyr had been struck with some type of object and damaged overnight. There were tire tracks on the dirt road next to the mailbox indicating that someone had driven by and struck the mailboxes with some type of object the report states. There were several mailboxes in that area which were also reported to be damaged.
*4:09pm-Brown County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a residence in Early where a complainant reported that his mailbox had been damaged overnight. According to the report, an unknown suspect struck the mailbox with an object to cause the damage the report states.
*4:13pm-A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to an area off of FM 3100 regarding a report of illegal dumping. According to the report, the complainant stated that she was visiting her mother, who lives in the area, when she witnessed a male with short dark hair driving a white pick-up truck (with a local electric company name on the side of it) stop across from her mother’s residence and dump what appeared to be a damaged recliner out of the truck and onto the side of the road. The driver then left the area and drove toward Brownwood the report states.
Monday, March 7
*3:15pm-Brownwood Police responded to the area of Melwood and Chandler Streets regarding suspicious activity. According to the report, the suspect vehicle and its driver were identified. A subsequent search of the vehicle resulted in the arrest of the driver identified as 22-year-old Douglas Allen Day for Possession of Marijuana.
Tuesday, March 8
*1:13am-Brownwood Police located an unoccupied vehicle in the 500 block of E. Commerce which had multiple slashed tires. According to the report, the officer was unable to locate the owner; however an informational report was filed.
*Early Police arrested 36-year-old William Clay Orr on multiple charges which included No Driver’s License, No Insurance, and Expired Registration.
All arrestees are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
