Monday, March 3
*9:18 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of 10th Street regarding the burglary of a habitation. An investigation is pending, the report states.
Tuesday, March 4
*10:37 AM – Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 700 block of Main Street regarding the burglary of a vehicle. According to the report, cash and credit cards were stolen during the burglary.
*11:31 AM – Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of W. Commerce Street regarding a domestic disturbance. According to the report, this call led to the arrest of 24-year-old Jayton Roberts of Bangs for assault with injury family violence.
*12:47 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2200 block of High Meadow regarding the burglary of a habitation. According to the report, during the incident a .45 cal handgun valued at $250, $70 in coins and two flashlights were stolen from the residence.
*3:49 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 2600 block of N. Main Blvd. regarding a scam. An investigation is pending, the report states.*3:51 PM – Brownwood Police responded to the 1800 block of Slayden Street regarding the burglary of a coin operated machine.
*6:34 PM – Brownwood Police were called to the 600 block of Coggin Avenue regarding harassment. According to the report, the victim had been threatened by a family member.
*9:02 PM – A Brown County Sheriff’s deputy was dispatched to a residence on CR 599 for a report of a domestic disturbance which was in progress. According to the report, the deputy arrived and spoke with the victim regarding the incident. The victim stated that his wife, with whom he is separated from, arrived at his residence and forced her inside in an attempt to talk about getting back together, the report states. The victim advised that he kept telling her to leave, and the two began physically struggling with each other; as he was attempting to get her out of his residence, according to the report. The victim stated that he was struck in the left side of the head by his wife, which caused his left ear to bleed, the report states.
*The Brownwood City Marshal arrested 43-year-old Savannah Raye Cabaniss of Brownwood on a warrant related to theft of property equal or greater than $500 less than $1500.
*Brownwood Police arrested 24-year-old Jessica Heskett of Temple for driving while intoxicated.
*Bangs Police arrested 24-year-old Brady Ryan Perkins of Valera for possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1 less than 1 gram and driving while license invalid with previous convictions/suspension.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 23-year-old James Kristopher Simmons of Menard on warrants related to possession of marijuana, theft, and criminal mischief.
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 63-year-old Stanley Dean Wright on a warrant related to theft of property equal or greater than $20 less than $500 by check.
Wednesday, March 5
*Brown County Sheriff’s Office arrested 24-year-old Jolene Nicole French of Brownwood on a warrant related to motion to revoke/driving while intoxicated.
